We missed a connection and were stuck in the D.C. area late at night. Nothing affordable available near the airport. Looks like a prison on the outside and inside. Tired, dirty, and not even that close to the airport. Booked through Expedia and it really should not even be on the site. No ammenities at all. Check-in clerk was relatively... More

Overpaid using Hotels.com but hopefully United will reimburse because flight was cancelled due to mechanical failure. But, not holding my breath. Only thing you get is a cup of coffee at this place. NO and I repeat NO airport shuttle so it was another $20 to the airport. I would say avoid unless you are stuck with no place to... More

I cannot believe that Expedia allows his property to post on their site. It is a fifth world dormitory located at the end of a dark street in the middle of subsidized housing complex. I should have suspected when I had to be buzzed in through both front doors and watched with suspicion through large glass windows my every move.... More

I stayed here for almost a year between deployments. It was beyond nasty. I put up a small Christmas tree and someone stole ornaments off it. The hotel is filthy. The neighborhood is very bad. I brought all my own linens because one look at the bed and I knew I would never sleep there. Between my own efforts and... More

I have stayed here over many years and find it is still a good place and worth the money. This is not luxury as indicated by other reviewers, but I have had reasonably good experiences here. The rooms are quite adequate, except for one or two of the studios. They are reasonably well furnished although getting a bit old. The... More

This was the WORST most disgusting, vile, place I have ever had the displeasure to see, I should have thought long and hard about the place seeing the dismal "front lobby" with plexiglass protection window, mini fridge with candy on top of it with a computer print off advertising the price, the desk clerk had no customer service, was in... We stayed here for the memorial weekend, we booked it online, they couldn't find our reservation, we had to call Expedia and they had to talk to the front desk to let us in (this issue took more than half an hour) during this time we asked to use rest room(was dying), they refused. This was at 4pm. ( check... More

This was a return trip after around 6 months. Six months ago the place was dark, rundown and depressing. I am in the area a few times a month and after serious problems during stays at both the close by Day's Inn and Comfort Inn I decided to give Bragg Towers another try. It was an excellent decision! They've brightened... More

Bragg Towers provides budget extended stay accommodations primarily for low income families and working individuals. The hotel is approximately five miles from the center of Alexandria, VA and convenient to 395. While there is bus service that runs into town, the metro is some distance away and staying is impractical without a car. The hotel is in a low income... More

Booked this place for one night via Priceline out of sheer desperation (toddler + power outage + 105 degree weather = desperation). I think we paid $60 (including tax). Pros: For us, it located close to our home (and close to 395N), cheap, free parking, cold A/C and has a mini-kitchen (which, we didn't make use of but it was... More
