If you are looking for a place close to King Street and other Old Town attractions, this wasn't it. It also isn't particularly close to a safe Metro station that can be used at night. Upon check-in, I was told that I should ride the airport shuttle back to DCA and take the Metro from there. But the shuttle shares... More

Stayed 3 nights nd found ths property to be very nice, check-in to checkout. Rate included a full buffet breakfast. Located in a quaint and quiet area so if you're looking for 24/7 excitement this is NOTthe place for you. Property in what felt to bek a safe area, even for female business travelers traveling alone. Stayed here one night in Oct. Can't think of anything to say really. It was fairly clean, easy to park, restaurant was closed. No ambiance whatsoever... Do not eat at the Royal Restaurant nearby as the staff suggests - it sucks! Best place around was TJ Stones which is one block away.

Booked this hotel for a weekend (Oct 21-Oct 23). Was looking for a cheap hotel that was nearby DC and came across this one. Was running late for check-in, but called and was told that it would be fine. The beds were nicely made up (loved the pillow choices) and the furniture was clean. The flat screen tv was a... More

Nice rooms clean pizza in small retaurant terrible. If you drive a pickup truck you wont be able to park in inside garage. Even outside is difficult, spacing small. I hate hotels that charge you to park your car($20 a night).

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites in the Historic District this weekend. Our room was immaculate upon arrival and we slept well (no noise whatsoever). We enjoyed two nice meals in the Bistro on First including breakfast and dinner. Our server, Lahbib, served us for both of our meals and he was exceptionally professional and attentive. Kim... More

I stayed at the Holiday Inn for a recent conference and found the rooms nicely decorated, clean, and most importantly, quiet. The staff was helpful, the tv selections adequate, and the workout room nicely available. The downside of this hotel is that it isn't near a metro and you are at the mercy of the shuttles to get anywhere. I... More

We stayed this past summer to see the local attractions in DC, but found we loved Alexandria! This hotel was located not so far away from King Street where it seems that most of the tourist action happens in Alexandria. The hotel staff was very helpful about getting around the area and making suggestions for dinner reservations. The rooms and... More

I stayed at this hotel and drove by car into dc daily in about 15 minutes. has a massive supermarket accross the street, shuttle buses every hour to the airport and to king street, an indoor/outdoor pool which my kids loved and lots of on street parking. It wasn't very full so maybe at... More
