My husband and I decided to spend Memorial Day weekend exploring the Charlottesville area. I found a recommendation for Le Bleu on the Blue Mountain Brewery website. We were delighted that the owners did not require two night reservations (even on a holiday weekend) because we could only stay one night due to our work schedules. Danielle and Marcel were... More

The house was lovely, and in a perfect, central location for visiting several of the area's best wineries and breweries, including Flying Fox--literally next door--which had exceptional wines. Danielle and Marcel were gracious, excellent hosts and the breakfasts they prepared were exceptional.

My husband and I travel to Charlottesville every two weeks for business. There was some major event going on Friday night and everything was sold out. I eventually found vacancy at the Le Blue Ridge and we are so glad I did. We felt that we had escaped into a very calm peaceful place. The delectable five course breakfast was... More

My wife and I went to Le Bleu Ridge for her 30th bday. The building and surround lands were beautiful and scenic (we did get perfect weather!) Danielle and Marcel were outstanding hosts with Danielle serving wonderfully tasty and filling homemade breakfasts each morning. We were full until dinner!! Nearby we were able to do some hiking in the Blue... More

My fiance and I took a weekend trip to Afton to tour some of the local vineyards and we chose to stay at Le Blue Ridge. What a great decision! Danielle and Marcel truly made us feel like family. The property has beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is accompanied by a wonderful tasting room for one of... More

Going to beautiful Nelson County Virginia to attend a wedding, we were fortunate to find Le Bleu Ridge B and B. A true labor of love from Danielle and Marcel. Not to be mistaken for those dusty Victorian places full of knick-knacks, this charming, historic farmhouse has only a couple of rooms, all with a very open, bright, modern and... More

Le Bleu Ridge B&B was a great experience. Danielle (from Quebec) made us feel right at home. She is truly one of the nicest B and B owners we have met across the country. The B&B is centrally located to local farms, wineries and the Blue Ridge Parkway for great views and hiking. The ambiance of the entire house was... More

Danielle and Marcel really made our stay special! We were in town for Tough Mudder and Danielle made sure to make us a HUGE breakfast before the race. They are extremely friendly and the house is beautiful. We enjoyed some wine at the winery next door and really loved this low-key place. Marcel built a wonderful bonfire for us to... More
