Beautiful place. Stayed in the cabin shown in the picture. Very private and lovely and clean. One drawback...the train! Latest it went through was 11:30 p.m. Very loud and very close. The town was great, the host was great (Rick), and the restaurants and shops were great.

There are actually 2 establishments on this site run by the same couple - the other is Black Dog Inn, where we stayed. It is an historic home renovated and expanded with love and care by the owners. The owners are delightful and Rick is very happy to tell you about the Inn and make local recommendations! They live in... More

Surprisingly luxurious for a reasonable price, with antiques and outdoor deck and garden. Excellent location at end of Virginia Creeper bike trail and near Barter Theatre and nice restaurants. Open kitchen but no prepared breakfast. Clean, comfortable, and convenient.

This is a charming stay, we were there for 2 nights in the separate building. The owner is very informative and helpful. I would absolutely stay at this location time and time again. The room was spacious and cozy with the fireplace.

An beautifully restored dwelling scattered with period antiques. Spotlessly clean and in a quiet location which is within easy walking distance of 'main street'. The inn keeper and wife (rick and Susan) whilst living off site couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. We are from England and during our 3 week tour during which we stayed at 10 locations... We stayed here the last time we were in Abingdon. The owner is so nice and very helpful. My family is also staying here for our wedding... he has tried to find them all somewhere to stay even if it wasn't at his establishment.

This is a beautifully restored, renovated and hand-crafted home with 3 lovely rooms bedrooms and the use of the house, porches, kitchen, etc. It's walking distance to the Barter Theater, wonderful restaurants (128 Pecan, Rain, and more), the bike shuttle, Creeper Trail, craft shops and lovely boutiques. Rick was very gracious, thoughtful, helpful and accommodating to our needs. The beds... More

Friends I stayed with in Nashville suggested I visit Abingdon on my drive towards Washington DC. I had never heard of the town but they told me it would be worth the visit and that they had previously stayed in a wonderful B&B in the town. I decided to take their advice and they booked on my behalf. I AM... More

We have been to many BnB's, but this is the only one that we've been back to on multiple occasions. The owners are just terrific folks and are always fun to visit with! The BnB is located close to the Creeper Trail, local shops, restaurants, and even an up and coming microbrew! We HIGHLY recommend stopping and sitting on the... More
