My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of spending two nights at the Copper Inn. First and foremost . . . .you will not find a better innkeeper than Kim. She treats her guests like family and tends to every want and need. If you need reservations, tickets, a guide to downtown activities, ask Kim before your arrival date and... More

My husband had a meeting in Abingdon and I tagged along. We were going to stay in a hotel but he surprised me at the last minute with a two-night stay a the Copper Lantern Boutique Inn. What a treat! When we first drove up, I noticed the beauty of the inn but was a little wary because it was... More

We stayed at the Copper Lantern Inn with our daughters and their husband and fiancee. Betty and Kim made us feel very welcome. They made our restaurant reservations and procured Barter Theater tickets. Kim is a real foodie and enjoys preparing wonderful breakfasts. She also prepared simple gourmet appetizers that were yummy. She prides herself in providing great cuisine and... More

We were so excited to return to the Copper Lantern Inn! We brought my parents, as well as my sister and her fiancé. We were greeted with warm and welcoming hugs. It was like we were coming home! My wife and I were looking for something off the beaten path, so we chose to spend this past weekend in Abingdon to enjoy some good food and bluegrass music. We chose to stay at the Copper Lantern as it was recommended on TripAdvisor, but didn't know anyone who had previously been there. Not being familiar with the area, we... More

We stayed in the Washington Suite which was perfect for us. The most comfortable bed ever in a large room with a huge en suite modern bathroom. The front porch makes a great place to relax with a glass of wine and the great appetizers Kimberly prepares. The breakfasts were awesome - truly gourmet. This inn is in a wonderful... More

I had met this special lady named Christina, we was talking about a great way to see how or if we could begin a relationship. She suggest a couple of choices and the Copper Lantern Boutique In was one of them. I told her that it sounded great, so she checked to see if a room was available, then texted... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Copper Lantern this past weekend. We chose this Inn due to the recommendation of our son, and it was perfect to celebrate our 34th Anniversary. Kim is the owner and she has so many talents – superb hostess, interior decorator and culinary skills that could be featured in Bon Appétit. Kim’s mother, Betty... More

Our hosts, Kim and her mother Betty love what they do, and it shows in all they do at the Copper Lantern Inn. They do it right! Our son and his wife stayed here a couple of years ago and highly recommended it to us. The location is ideal and only a short walk to the Barter Theater, eateries on... More

Wow what a wonderful B and B home, i called and I immediately felt that i was talking with an old friend. I explained everything I had planned for my weekend with my wife and Kim and Betty took over. I was told it would all be taken care of and it was down to the nth degree. I could... More
