My sister and I come to the Mistletoe Market almost every year. We decided that this year we would stay at a B&B; I'm so glad that we selected The Copper Lantern. We stayed in the Washington room which is beautiful. The bed is so comfy that it's hard to get up in the morning. The food was beyond good;... More

This was our second visit to the Copper Lantern Inn. First and foremost, Kim and Betty are absolutely the best. We were welcomed back to their home like family. They were absolutely accommodating in every way and we wanted for nothing the entire trip. Kim had appetizers waiting on us when we arrived which were delicious in every way and... More

From the first time Betty and I spoke on the phone, I knew a connection was made. Not only did we find new friends in Betty and Kim - we found family. Upon arriving at the Inn we felt loved and welcomed. We were shown the two available rooms and given our choice! After a moment to settle in we... More

The Copper Lantern Inn contains something powerfully and personally magical about it. From the moment you step onto the porch it is though you've been wrapped in a blanket and welcomed home. Charm radiates from the Akers family as they greet you upon arrival, and for the duration of your stay you feel as though you are an "Akers" too.... More

First, the building is beautiful inside and out, and the breakfast was excellent (thank you, Kim). It's hard to explain why we were so disappointed with our experience, best explained by many little incidents. When I made the reservation weeks ahead it was explained to me that they have a two night minimum, I told Betty I understood the policy... More

We couldn't be more pleased with a weekend get away! I found this lovely Inn accidentally and was fortunate that they had a room for us. We lucked up because of the expected rain that caused people to cancel trips to visit Abingdon and the Virginia Creeper Trail. I almost hesitate to write how wonderful our stay was because they... My husband and I took a last minute vacation and out of luck were able to get a room at the Copper Lantern Inn. Betty and Kim went way beyond our expectations in making us feel at home and like family. They had even made our dinner and show reservations before we got there. The food was awesome and their... The Copper Lantern Inn represents the very best bed and breakfast experience imaginable. The historic home is luxurious, comfortable, and appointed to accommodate every need. The inn keepers are absolutely charming. Any visitor can expect a warm embrace upon checking in and checking out. They go the extra mile in every way. The breakfasts were prepared with a gourmet flair.... More

My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We were blessed to have found this awsome B&B. Everything was scheduled and ready for us when we got there. Our spectacular hostesses were on point with everything from wine to the best of dinner reservations. Breakfasts were beautifully presented and very tasty. Not even the smallest of details were...
