My sister and law and I love to meet up for a girls weekend. My wonderful brother did some research and came across the Copper Lantern Inn! He spoke with Kimberly and Betty and they got things set up for us. All we had to do was show up! We were greeted with hugs and instantly felt like part of... More

This was am amazing place to stay. The location was very convenient to all the popular attractions Abingdon offers. Betty and Kimberlee took such good care of us! The food was wonderful and because it was our anniversary they went out of their way to make our stay extra special. We are definitely planning to come back!

This was our second time staying at the Copper Lantern Inn! Our first time was a year ago, my husband and I stayed for our wedding night. We loved it so much that we wanted to come back and stay the weekend for our 1st Wedding Anniversary so that we could truly enjoy the bed and breakfast. Betty and Kim... More

My husband arranged a weekend away for us all by himself. He contacted Betty and Kimberly (mother-daughter) and they lovingly assisted him with all the details to make this the most special weekend in our 38 years of marriage. We were greeted with open arms. Everything you could possibly ask for they had. We were in the Washington Suite which... More

Last weekend our niece, her husband, my husband, and I stayed for our second visit to the beautiful Copper Lantern Inn. We returned this year to celebrate our special anniversaries, one year for them, and 21 years for us! Last year, we treated the newlyweds to the honeymoon suite, and decided to spend our 20th anniversary the night before the... More

My husband and I traveled to Abingdon and Copper Lantern over this Memorial Day weekend. Reservations had been made for months. All theater and restaurant reservations were made by Betty and Kim. We had nothing to do but to arrive and enjoy. And that we did. The weather was so very pleasant and was made more pleasant by the large... More

Inn keeper was great. She handled all of our dinner and theatre reservations. Plus she provided lots of information about the town and where to visit. Accommodations were excellent and breakfast delicious. Thanks again, Kim. (p.s. we had another boy).

This old home is beautiful and full of history and the location was perfect for walking to all of our destinations. Betty made great suggestions about things to do when we called and then made all of our reservations so that all we had to do was show up and enjoy. It was my husbands 60 birthday and we were... I recently stayed at the Copper Lantern Inn in Abingdon, VA, for a "sister weekend," and it was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, Kimberly (our hostess) made us feel right at home. We planned our trip on the phone through her mother, Debra, and all of our tickets and reservations for activities were made for us (dinner... More

How much fun it was to have the sisters here for a reunion! Kay, Lynn and Angie, mom and I so enjoyed taking care of you. I love that you thought of us for your time together. My mother only wished she could have been up here instead of Florida, Deb, is my assistant, we are a big family! We... More
