The good: It is the least expensive motel I've stayed in before going back 20 years. These are Very basic digs. Lumpy beds, and lumpy pillows. Showers need a re-grouting. It was rather dark and dingy. On the bright side the location was great. Their proximity to the Cracker Barrel was convenient. The staff was nice. I wouldn't stay here... More

While the motel is a bit dated, the rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the price very reasonable. They serve a very nice continental breakfast. For economical travel, I would definitely recommend it.

Not many amenities, but enough to sleep. Place is old and dated. Breakfast was simple, but I augment the protein by bringing my own bacon. The biggest hassle was with xpedia. I needed to cancel a night at this hotel. I called and they were OK with it. Called X and was on hold alot. They needed to call hotel.... More

We normally stay at one of the more upscale hotels while in Abingdon. This time we opted for a less expensive place. While there's certainly nothing fancy about this place at all, it did provide a good nights sleep and hot shower the next morning. For the money it was a good deal.

We needed a place that accepts pets!! We have stayed at another pet friendly hotel and when I bid on priceline and got this one I was nervous. But once I walked in the room and saw how spacious it was and that it was clean I was very relieved. The room was actually nice, the bed were too springy... More

This was a great economical place to stay while we visited our son; we stayed 3 nights. Surprisingly quiet being so close to I-81. The room was clean, beds comfortable. The room was also spacious with microwave and refrigerator. The coffeepot needs to be cleaned with vinegar... Very slow making coffee; took about 30 minutes. Breakfast is minimal but sufficient.... Dirty carpet, very low water pressure, poor lighting in entire room, inferior bedding and towels. This hotel need to get their services in place in order to get 2stars...very misleading. Will never return or recommend.

Worth the $50 we paid on Thursday night. Price went up to $150 Sat and Sun. 3 towels for four people every night even though they were told about it. FLAT pillows. Tub knob missing back plate. Left standing in office every time I went in cause nobody around.

Dear Sujoly, Hello, thank you for your review. Our hotel rates do go up during the Nascar races in March and August every year, as do all hotels in the Tricities area.
