Two friends and myself recently stayed in the Hideaway room at the Inn. We loved it so much. The whole house was so beautiful with all the antiques and Victorian charm. I loved walking around and "discovering " something else of beauty. The Hummel collection, crystal, antique hats, dolls, antique pictures ....everything just wowed me. We loved our room too.... More

We so enjoyed our two-night stay at this charming inn filled with beautiful antiques. Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts served on the back porch by Dean both mornings. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and make it a pleasure to just spend some time relaxing on the back porch.

This was a amazing B&B. Beautiful grounds 4 acres of gardens and landscape to wonder on. We went there as a couples two day get away and was given a two bedroom suite with a kitchen if we chose to cook. This suite could accommodate 2 couples or a family of 4. Beautifully decorated and it opened up onto a... More

Our family of five stayed here while we biked the Creeper Trail. Our rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. Our three adult children stayed in two rooms at the back of the house and we stayed in front. The configuration of our rooms indicated that we had free run of another kitchen/game room at the back of the house, and this... More

We too were referred by another inn keeper whose inn closes in the winter. Since we were staying several nights Dean was thoughtful enough to offer us a larger room with tis own separate kitchen and dining room. Because of ice on the roads we decided to pick up food, etc and spend the afternoon/evening at the inn, so the... More

We fortunately were referred to The Inn on Town Creek by the operator of another B&B who was scheduled to be out of town when we were coming to Abingdon to visit family. Abingdon itself is a great little city with attractions that range from theater to paved hiking paths. The Inn is located in a quiet, attractive neighbor hood... More

We had such a wonderful time staying here in Oct. 2011 we decided to reurn in Oct. 2012. We stayed in the Hideaway Room again and just loved it. Linda is very hospitable. Dean makes a breakfast to die for. The area around Abingdon, Virginia is absolutely beautiful. If you plan to stay in Abingdon please give the Inn of... More

First: the directions on the Website made this B&B much harder to find than it should have been (took us two tries to get it right). Second, our reception was not very welcoming--more about reciting rules than making us feel welcome. It felt like staying overnight with your richest, meanest aunt, and worrying all of the time about making a... More

This was a mixed bag for us. On the one hand, we appreciated the yard, which featured lovely landscaping that was the site of a wedding the evening we arrived. The house itself was spacious and spotless, and the breakfast the next morning was a treat that included an egg casserole, sausage, fresh fruit and a pastry that was cold... More

It was our second time to stay. It won't be our last. Last week we were booked in for two nights with our daughter from California, and our son and his wife from Chattanooga, We didn't want to leave. Sooooo.....we stayed another night! You couldn't feel more welcome. The house is lovely and Dean serves a great breakfast.
