We like to stay at Hampton Inns because you know exactly what you're going to get, and this one was no exception. The room was clean and well-maintained, the continental breakfast was great, and the staff was very helpful. The cranberry-and-white-chocolate-chip cookies at the front desk when we arrived were outstanding. We stopped in Abingdon on the way home from... more

We stayed here for one day in preparation for our Creeper Trail visit, and we were not disappointed. The rooms were clean, as was the pool and common areas. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful, especially "Lee", who took the time to share with us and other guests. He is a gem, and we hope he is appreciated by... more

Very, very clean, quiet and loaded with amenities. Business people mostly during the week. I arrived to find a bottle of water and a bag of potato chips waiting for me in my room. Room was quite large and had a micro/fridge set up. Comfortable king bed with absolutely miserable feather pillows - squished flat immediately. If I had not... more

Just a really quick entry ... I am sitting in my third floor room at the Hampton Inn, Abingdon, VA - It just doesn't get any better than this! I'm using in-room WiFII (I went down to the desk to ask a question and I never lost signal, even in the elevator!) and I am easily able to do everything... more

I've stayed at the Hampton many times and have never had a bad experience.....which is why I choose to stay here even when I'm only in the area for the Creeper Trail. The cleanliness and friendly staff make the extra minutes drive to Damascus well worth it!!! more

I've stayed at the Comfort Inn in Abingdon and it was fine but a couple of nights ago, my sister and I stayed at the Hampton Inn and it was really nice. I'm all about comfortable beds and this one was fabulous. The pillows and the mattress were very nice. I don't usually like hotel coffee but this coffee (at... more

There were thirteen in our group and we booked seven rooms. I found that several of us were quoted a different rate ranging from $139-99 per night for a king/non smoking room. The checkin clerk was very personable and pleasant. We were allowed to check in early allowing us to visit the Highlands Festival going on in town. The room... more

I stayed here with my wife during the Memorial day weekend. It was a last minute reservation. I paid 109 bucks on Priceline- There are a few cheaper hotels, but I opted to pay more for a nice room vs cheap as the cheaper ones in abingdon have been nasty. I was pleased that the rooms were so nice- The... more

Spent two weeks at the hotel for business. This is not a luxurious hotel but is clean and well-kept. Rooms have flat screen tvs, fridge and microwave. There is a nice breakfast area in the lobby where three nice older ladies fix breakfast each morning - biscuits and gravy, sausage biscuits, eggs, etc. There is also plenty of cold cereal,... more
