Not worth $90. A night! Our friend's room smelled like mold & it took them TWENTY minutes to get hot water. The Continental breakfast is fruit loops in a dusty dispenser in the lobby - the lobby is about as big as a motel bathroom; no chairs or table AND they piled dirty linens in the ice bin outside, so... We stayed at the Yankee Village motel about 4 years ago. It was rough but they were in the process of renovating. Well, we decided to give it one more chance since they were renovating 4 years ago. Well it seemed like they didn't renovate a thing. The rooms were musty, the paint was different colors on the wall, the... More

I wasn't planning on staying in ascutney but due to the damage caused by hurricane Irene everywhere in Quechee, Lebanon and the surrounding area that I tried was completely fully booked with workmen so I had no choice but to head south. This motel was the only place I found open at 9.30pm. It's a budget motel so expect just... More

We just needed a place for the night, nothing fancy. We got an older motel that was being redone but while people were staying in the rooms. The rooms still had the outdated bath fixtures (the toilet seat fell off just as I was sitting down) Hot water takes a LONG time to get to the rooms. Other guests were... More

We stayed only because we were exhausted and nothing else was available. There was no hot water until morning, crap on the walls, filthy upholstery on fold out sofa and boarded up areas in bath and kitchen area. The only thing I can say is the sheets appeared clean and although we couldn't get the washcloths we needed we did... More

They advertise that they allow dogs, but when we showed up, they interrogated us about our dogs' behavior, size, noise level, etc. They were not friendly. The bathroom was too small to be functional. This is a $30 a night motel, and they charged us $130. Not impressed. More

Do not stay here! Our room was overpriced, and gross! Do NOT stay here, it is a total rip off for the money they charge! Even if were CHEAP, or free, it would be a total rip-off! More

I spent months carefully planning our first trip to New Hampshire and Maine. I had all rooms reserved ahead of time. However, on the trip back I was unable to do this because we weren't sure of departure time or length of travel in one day. In Vermont, I began calling and looking for rooms at various motels and hotels... More

Stayed on the Columbus Day holiday weekend. We were a little nervous after reading some of the comments but they were unfounded. The room was in the process of renovations but still clean and acceptable. We found a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker and a great gift bag! Yes, we had heat. It was set back from the road far... More
