Stayed for a wedding weekend. Everything was spotless, the rooms were unexpectedly large, there were play items for my kids (7 and 3), including a wiffle ball/bat, croquet, swings, and a lilly pond. The breakfasts were large and delicious. I couldn't have loved it more. We were in the Rockwell room on the third floor (no elevators, of course)--a spacious... More

Great wedding location, we had the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all on site. It was beautiful and isolated. All the guests were blown away. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. This is a can't miss Vermont wedding destination.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn late June for 4nights to attend a family wedding and it was just so amazingly beautiful and charming - the inn itself, the wedding setting and the grounds and surrounds. The property has been lovingly restored and preserved and you can't help but feel you have stepped back through time to a... More

This was our 3rd stay at the inn. We were able to get Rm #9 again, it was quiet & private. Very comfortable - slept well! The food is excellent, we had breakfast and dinner there for the 2 night stay. Very happy with all food & wine selection, the coffee is great. Best pancakes ever! Hope to celebrate our... More

My brother got married here last weekend. It was simply terrific. First of all, he says that the staff here was remarkably helpful throughout the planning process, which was no small relief since we're based in NYC (a lot of it had to be done over email/phone). My wife, our 3-year-old son and I spend three nights here. We stayed... More

The day is finally here! My partner and I have been waiting 20 years to get married and we came up from the South to Vermont to finally and legally make that covenant to love each other until death do us part. We choose West Mountain Inn because of their wonderful elopement package and the beautiful picturesque gardens and rolling... More

My sister and I returned to the West Mountain Inn from 5/13 to 5/15 to participate in our first "work week" at the inn. In exchange for a room and breakfast, we worked four hours each morning to help the inn prepare for its spring/summer season. We cleaned wedding chairs and raked leaves from a garden under beautiful blue skies... More

West Mountain Inn was wedding location for my daughter's wedding - I had only seen pictures. Everything about the weekend was magnificent - the Inn and the rooms are beautiful, the food gourmet delicious, the mountain setting beautiful, the antique Barn festive for reception and the staff fabulous! Terry, the wedding coordinator, was the best! Amy, the owner, is a... More

We visited the West Mountain Inn recently and once again enjoyed every minute of our time there. My husband and I arrived in the afternoon, settled in, relaxed, and even fit in a short walk on their beautiful property before dusk. In the late afternoon, we were able to have a glass of wine and complimentary cheese, crackers and fruit... More

Both the rooms and the setting of this inn are beautiful. I had an opportunity to look at many of the rooms (arrived early during a quiet time) and they are all spacious and gorgeous. I spent quite a bit of time reading in one of the Adirondack chairs on the front lawn and gazing at the incredible mountain view.... More
