My husband and I stayed at the Whitney House Inn two weekends ago. Terry is a wonderful host--super friendly and just a lovely man. Our room was beautiful and extreme attention was paid to every detail of our stay. I cannot recommend this bead and breakfast highly enough!

In central Arlington, but somewhat removed from Route 7A, this charming inn has a large porch for sitting/swinging, comfortable rooms and country decorations enhanced by beautiful needlework. The innkeepers Patricia and Kerry Meade are hospitable, full of suggestions about the area; Kerry makes outstanding breakfasts, Patricia creates the embroidery and needlepoint. This small inn has only four rooms; it appeals... More

The food is fabulous and the service is outstanding. This is a truly lovely home with character and two people who genuinely love what they do. If we visit the area again, we'd be back here in a heartbeat.

We again travelled to Vermont for our biannual visit to this lovely state and again stayed at the Whitney House Inn. We have grown to love this fine Inn and its warm and caring innkeepers who we now consider best friends - Pat and Kerry Meade. This time we were met at the Inn by dear friends who travelled from... Ive stayed at B&Bs all over the world and this is the best. It's a lovely house and all of the rooms are delightful. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful and different every day. Lots of parking. We received a very warm welcome from the couple that own and run the house. I would not hesitate to stay there again and strongly... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending a weekend at the Whitney House, along with another couple. We were attending a wedding at a nearby Inn. Kerry and Pat were wonderful hosts, and the common area space is fantastic. A beautiful front porch area, along with a spacious living room/ parlor were at our disposal. Our hosts were... More

We have stayed in many B&B's throughout the U.S, but The Whitney House would have to be at the top of our list. Despite less than perfect weather, our stay there was perfection. Owners Pat and Kerry felt like "best friends" almost immediately and they provided so many extra little touches to make our stay memorable. The breakfasts were better... More

We picked the Whitney House based on its rating on Trip Advisor and the comments posted. We were not disappointed. All we expected and more. Pat and Kerry operate a first class Inn and their dedication to making your stay memorable is evident in every detail of the Whitney House. From our booking to our departure, nothing was a surprise... More

This was our third stay at The Whitney House, and it's about time I wrote a review. The Inn is beautiful. The great room is lovely, with a beautiful fire place and charming ambiance. The rooms are clean, quaint, quiet, private, warm, and cozy. The Innkeepers, Kerry and Pat, are welcoming and friendly. And Kerry serves a delicious breakfast. We... More

I just returned from my third visit to the Whitney House. I wrote a review after my first trip but I felt compelled to write again because it was still an amazing experience several years later. Pat and Kerry are so kind and eager to make your stay great; they really make an effort to get to know their guests.... More
