Our family was up in nearby Hoosick Falls, NY to visit family, but decided to stay a couple of nights in Vermont for a mini-vacation. But where to stay? We looked at several places before deciding on Arcady. The rates are fair, and affordable. We were looking for a pool, and the Arcady has a nice one at that as... More

I must say, I believe that the few people that did not give this b&b a positive review may just be cynical, pessimists in life in general. :) You will see that the overwhelming majority of the reviews are positive. We stayed for one night and wished our schedule allowed us to stay for two! We found the room and... More

This was a last minute reservation for this past weekend. We didn't quite understand why if you are reserving a room with two double beds for two adults and one child that you have to pay $20 extra for a 12 year old but we paid it. The location was in between Manchester and Bennington which was perfect for us.... More

George, the innkeeper, has found his calling in life! He made our stay exactly what I wanted my first visit to a Vermont b&b to be. We felt like friends by the time we left. (Ask about his Grandpa's cat story). You absolutely must have breakfast there. (And try the homemade granola & muesli). We had room 18, it was... More

We stayed here in the fall of 2014. It's not fancy, but if you're only going to need a place to sleep, it's a nice place to stay. We had our grandson with us and he was amazed when we returned to the room after going to the Shelburn Museum, to see the room all "made up". He had never... More

we love to ski but the prices can get crazy. we discovered George at Arcady and could not be happier. Clean and warm. can't wait to see it in the Spring. The pool will be nice. Right now it is cold and ski season.

George the owner was helpful and super friendly. He made breakfast early for us. Which was excellent! Ham and eggs! Fresh muffins, granola and yoghurt. Basic, clean and warm. A little dated but great value for a stop over point. Thanks!

A friend invited me on a road trip to visit beautiful Manchester, Vermont. Based on the positive reviews, she chose this travel lodge. We arrived late in the day after a long drive and a visit to The Clark (just across the border in Williamstown, Mass). When we entered the room, we were a bit disappointed with the scruffy, hodgepodge... More

This was a lovely hotel perched on the top of a hill just off 22A. The rooms are beautifully appointed, scenery was magnificent and in Spring/Summer/Fall there's a pool and cedar hot tub. Breakfast is provided (prepared) by the host who is wonderful to chat with. Look forward to returning ito experience and enjoy a different season.

I am touched by your kindness and efforts to show your gratitude for the services we provide. It is hard to earn a positive comment which we truly treasure, This is what keeps us motivated to do even better the next time around. Thank you with all my heart More
