I lovely stay at this charming B&B built by Ira and Ethan Allen! Wonderful hosts, beautiful inn, comfortable bed, and blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup in the morning - and the most delicious maple sweetened locally made yogurt.

This was one of the best esperiences I have had, everything you want and more when staying at a Bed & Breakfast! The owners are the warmest, friendliest and most hospitable ever, had even baked cookies for our arrival. The entire house was so authentic, cozy and beautiful, I couldn't get enough! There was a fireplace in our room, which... More

We stayed here for a weekend shopping trip and were so pleased with our choice. It's a beautiful historic home that's decorated in a comfortable, hang-out-and-chat sort of way. Hildene is just a few minutes up the road, and Manchester is just a few minutes beyond that (the B&B sells discounted tickets to Hildene, by the way). I appreciated the... More

Our family of four (myself, husband, and 2 children ages 12 & 9) had the ultimate pleasure of staying at the Ira Allen House B&B. The innkeepers, Kevin and Michael, were the epitome of excellence. From the fresh baked cookies or a wonderful dark chocolate pound cake available each afternoon to the marvelous and varied breakfasts every morning, the historic... More

My wife, 2 daughters, and I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at the Ira Allen House Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in the Ira Allen Suite and could not have been more pleased. The suite has 2 bedrooms, a private bathroom, and a large sitting area with a TV and fireplace. The owners, Michael and Kevin, are everything... More

I selected The Ira Allen House based on the glowing recommendations that this place was... More

We spent two wonderful nights at the Ira Allen House Bed and Breakfast. Our room was clean, cute and very cozy. The breakfasts were delicious. The hosts could not have been more accommodating. The inn is very close to the Lincoln Hildene Mansion and Manchester shopping. We will definitely be returning.

My husband and I recently spent the weekend at the Ira Allen house and had a wonderful experience. The room was very clean and comfortable and the owners Michael & Kevin went out of their way to make us feel at home. Both mornings the breakfast was beyond expectations and delicious. A great value considering you'd pay double to be... More

I researched places to stay for our visit to the Manchester, Vt area and decided on the Ira Allen House largely on reviews here on TripAdvisor. It was a great decision. The best part about our stay was the hosts: Kevin and Michael. They will take good care of you. Their help and advice on things to see and do... More

Mike and Kevin are super hosts and know all the places to see in the area. They made our stay memorable because of their friendliness and their Inn. We made use of the living room area each evening, enjoying the feeling of an 18th-century Vermont home, a place of history. The breakfasts were delicious and filling--not at all like the... More
