Our first thought of where to stay when going to Burlington was to use our Hilton points. However, I quickly remembered how much I love B&B's especially in New England in the fall. So I began calling around to different Inn's and once I spoke with Sue, I knew I found the right one for us. She was friendly and... More

We arrived after a long bike ride to a warm welcome. Sue and Bob were great hosts and took care of us over the next few days with good food and helpful local information. The room was comfortable and very clean. The setting right on the lake was beautiful. We would definitely love to go back for another stay.

We visited for what was supposed to be just one night in July. We had a last minute change of plans and needed to add a day to our stay, and Susan was really helpful in making that happen. We were arriving from Burlington via bikes and had many unexpected delays, making our arrival much later than anticipated. Even though... More

This B & B has only 4 rooms, and is located right on Lake Champlain. We had the upstairs room with a deck overlooking the lake. No AC, but truly not needed. Susan, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was over the top wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer than our planned 1 night, but I hope... More

We spent 2 nights at the Thomas Mott Homestead and left wishing we could have stayed longer. Our room was on the first floor with windows looking at the lake and a private bath. We were very comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck overlooking the lake and I spent some time in the sun room reading. Very relaxing! Sue... More

We spent 3 idyllic days here! We stayed in the Ransom Bay Room--beautiful lake views, very private, with comfortable furnishings. The near-constant lake breeze was a delight even in July. We brought kayaks and were able to launch off of the front lawn. Wonderful biking opportunities abound. We did a beautiful circuit around Isle La Motte. We did an 11-mile... More

We were here to do genealogy research in the nearby towns and chose to stay at this B&B. Our one regret was that we had planned to stay only one night. Our room was Ransom's Retreat and very clean and comfortable with a queen sized bed, small love seat, night stand, small table, and corner fireplace. There were even folding... More

I first stayed at Thomas Mott for a mother daughter weekend a few years ago. The following year my husband and I booked a couples' time and August 2013 was our third year staying at the Thomas Mott B&B as a couple. We like to stay in a different room each visit and have found each room to have its... More

This place marks the halfway point in the Champlain Bikeway loop. There's not much around. Sue, knowing we were on bikes, offered to make us dinner as well. The view of the lake from our bedroom was amazing. There are windows that wrap around two walls with the longest wall facing the lake. There was a storm that night and... More

We almost stayed at North Hero house but decided it looked cramped and run down in the photos, and a bit overpriced. The best part about the house is the view over Lake Champlain. We got the room with the balcony overlooking the lake, although we mostly spent time in the Adirondack chairs on the lawn overlooking the water. There... More
