A lovely inn out in the country with gardens and sheep and lots of lawn and views. The owner and her helpers were super accommodating and very nice. My husband and I stayed at the Whitford House Inn for 2 nights in July. We actually visited with my parents who were visiting from Australia. We stayed there this past June and loved it. The innkeepers, Barbara and Bruce Carson, are the nicest and most hospitable people you will ever meet. We left there feeling like we were family. I still dream about this place. Stayed here with my husband during a leaf-peeping trip last fall. Neither of us are fond of the Victorian chintz-explosion look that so many B&Bs tend to have, and Whitford House was blessedly free of it.
