Based on TripAdvisor reviews we opted to stay at the Rustler during an early ski season trip to Alta, Utah. We were not disappointed! From the minute we walked through the doors we were greeted with smiling welcoming faces. We were whisked away to our upgraded room and given a tour... later we had drinks in an amazing lounge/bar area... More

I read recent TripAdvisor reviews before deciding to try the Rustler Lodge and I was struck by the fact they were all "excellent" and very enthusiastic in recent years. Yes, there were a few lower ratings but they were from several years ago. The room was exceptionally clean with the most comfortable bed and linens I have encountered in my... More

Travelling to Utah from the UK for the first time we did not know what to expect and this hotel was much better than expected. It is very relaxed with brilliant service and the food is fantastic, in fact the food was so good we skied back for lunch to eat in the hotel rather than the mountain self service... More

Staying at the Rustler means being in a place where you leave your problems at the door and live comfortably and contentedly at night so you can ski to your heart's content all day. The Rustler is extremely comfortable and accommodating. Within the limits of good taste - broadly defined, you may wear whatever you want around the facility -... More

This lodge is very understated and a bit humble to the eyes, but what it lacks in "posh-ness" it makes up in it's delivery to it's guests. The Rustler has always been a family favorite for us, but the upgrades make this lodge even more attractive. These are the most comfortable beds you will find in a hotel. Much needed... More

We've stayed at many ski accommodations in Utah over the past 20 years and settled on the Rustler this year. The experience totally spoiled me and now I can't imagine staying anywhere else. I'm a far less enthusiastic skier than my husband yet I woke up every morning excited for the day. It was heavenly to go to the dining... More

We recently stayed at the Rustler Inn for our first time and will we will be going back next year and beyond. The experience was really fantastic, from our booking to our departure. It started with Tauni when she answered the phone, took the reservation for the last room in the joint, put us on a waiting list for king... More

We're a family with two young kids. My husband and I had not been skiing for four years due to aforementioned two young kids. We really wanted to go again but weren't sure how to manage the logistics. We researched a variety of options and found that Alta + Rustler was the perfect combination of good ski school + ease... This was our fourth visit to the Rustler and was part of a three week nostalgic ski trip to the USA including Jackson, Alta and Vail. Due to the convenience of ski in/ski out accommodation and excellent food, the Rustler took the honours as the complete skiing vacation, highly recommended for all levels of skier. MikeS

We've stayed at many ski lodges in many ski areas over many years, but to us, the Rustler is simply the best. Unlike many of the Rustler's guests, we don't return every year, as we have a long list of ski resorts that we enjoy visiting. However, we have been there enough to see the Rustler evolve from a rather... More
