One of the best locations in Austin, one corner oF6th Street.. Close to UT, and everything Austin has to offer. Beautiful, grand Hotel. Lobby has live Music every night and it is hoppin. Hotel is rumored to be haunted which adds to the romance, great beds and sheets.. only complaint is you have to PAY TO USE THE BIZ Center….... More

This hotel was really unique and is the closest upscale hotel to the 6th street area. The front desk was very accommodating and check in was done with ease. Roommates were on par for the amenities and location that come with the hotel. Hotel was very clean and the bar restaurant downstairs had cheap drinks to get the nights started.... More

There is a feeling about it, as soon as you lay your eyes on it, even on the booking page of some website. When you get there is simply wonderful. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in . The restaurant downstairs had delicious breakfast!! The hotel is almost out of this time.

The Driskill is a beautiful, stately hotel that has a stunning lobby and old-school bar. It's location is right in the heart of 6th street, so walking to a variety of places is easy. You can actually park your car and not need it until you check out. Service is accommodating and friendly.

A favorite while staying in the states capital. Walking distance to nightlife. Concierge was very accommodating to requests. Hotel maids went above and beyond. Treated like a returning long lost family member by staff.

Great time. Beautiful hotel with lots of old world charm. Would definitely like to return soon. Hotel bar and breakfast restaurant were unique and very charming. Hotel location is excellent for venturing out into the city to enjoy a variety of good restaurants and bars.

The Driskill is on par with a clean Motel 6 wrapped in a fancy lobby and a brand name. The bed was clean, I'll say that, however the bathroom door wouldn't stay open, the bathtub filled up (wouldn't drain) while showering, and the bed itself had an iron headboard that was on its last leg. If you want to stay... More

The hotel is located in the heart of downtown and within walking distance to the nightlife. There were great restaurants and markets around that I was able to walk to as well. The interior of the hotel feels like an old haunted house. It's very clean and decorated nicely but it's dark and difficult to navigate with all the stairs,... More

We stayed at the Driskill in mid June; the trip was booked by our business co-ordinator. While the archeticture was lovely, you can tell the hotel was built in the 1800's. Our room had no storage for our clothes outside of the closet (which was also small). No dressers whatsoever! There was some type of small black debris all over... More
