The hotel was pretty nice. It is very clean and the staff is amazing. There are so many on hand and willing to help in anyway. The room, however was just a little lacking. I found it odd that there were no drawers in the room. There was no fridge, either. We had reserved a king bed, but there was... More

We recently stayed at the Renaissance Marriott for a weekend trip to Austin, & we can't wait until we are back again. The facility itself is very nice, it is well kept, modern, and somewhat eclectic. Upon check in we were greeted by Nathan. Nathan seemed genuinely happy to help us, and even bumped us up to a signature suite!... More

We have stayed here in the past. They have tried to do an update and it is not good, We had room 807 that overlooked the atrium. The bathroom is so small that if you are indisposed the door hits your knees. They have taken out the tub and tiled the existing area. You cannot raise both elbows to shampoo... More

The hotel restaurant is amazing, definitely worth the money. The hotel rooms are very nice and very comfortable. My husband and I have stayed here twice and will definitely stay again whenever we're in Austin.

Paid extra to get Club lounge access for drinks and snacks only to realize it closes at 10am on Fridays and Saturdays, which is useless to me. The rest of the days is it open in the evening as well, which is what I had expected. Staff seems efficient. Hotel is nice and clean. Lobby is very inviting with a... More

Checked in sunday,4:00 pm-no rooms available, rooms were still dirty-over 100 people in same boat. Told it would be ready by 6:30-finally given a room at 8:15. Wednesday check out-over 300 guests of hotel at conference at another site that was dismissed at noon, including me. At 11:30 my wife was told she had to vacate the room and wait down... More

An engaging 8 story interior courtyard where interior facing rooms open with balcony adds character. Staff was very helpful, rooms clean and for mid size convention the property worked out nicely My only complaint is that the AC is always a bit cold in many Texas hotel meeting rooms, and this was no exception. Bring a sweater. It is very... More

I was one of 1000 people with hearing loss who attended the Hearing Loss Association of America convention. The Renaissance Austin had excellent meeting and catering facilities, with a large open lobby suitable for large groups. The rooms were comfortable, and the phones were hearing aid compatible.

From valet service to the front desk and the general manager this hotel was fantastic. We had the luxury suite which was very comfortable. Room service was great and ahead of schedule. We were celebrating our anniversary and I couldn't of been happier. Hotel is located near a lot of shops and restaurants. It's a nice area of town and... More

I've stayed here a few times already on a business trip. As a platinum member, I prefer staying at a Renaissance or JW. I like staying here because the room is very inviting. The modern furnitures with a country look is well done. They view from the room facing downtown is beautiful. There are a couple of flaws though. The... More
