I have been a guest at the Renaissance Austin Hotel for years and have always been very happy with the service I received when I stay there. My loyalty has been shaken, however, by my recent experience. The company where I work made a reservation for me at the hotel as had been customary. On November 11, 2014, when I... More

Very elegant property with lots of shops and eateries in walking distance. Rooms were clean and well-appointed other than not having a mini-fridge. Staff was friendly and well trained. Bar area was bustling and service was attentive. Grounds were beautiful with many places to sit and enjoy. Would definately recommend!

Stayed here for a wedding in October 2014. Check in was quick and courteous; rooms large, clean, with comfortable beds and good linens. Bath supplies were Aveda, which were a plus. There are two restaurants in the hotel, plus a nice patio area that we enjoyed. More than adequate, safe self-parking. There are numerous restaurants in the area including several... More

Fleas! I killed two fleas in the bathroom, which put a quick halt to our stay. I should've thought something was up when we got to the king-suite and it smelled exactly like my college dorm room. When I called down to tell the front desk about the fleas, the response was, "Well, I guess a couple snuck in there."... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience from your recent stay at our hotel. I was very disappointed to read that your time with us was less than exceptional. Please know that I have shared your comments with the appropriate department leaders so that corrective actions can be implemented immediately. This is certainly not the service that... More

Full marks to Austin at reception. When I voiced my concern at the inability of my devices to connect in the lobby (free) he gave me free access in the room. Check in was easy - they knew immediately I mentioned my name who I was. Live music from 7pm for free - very nice.

We stayed here in early October 2014 while visiting Austin for a wedding and had a great experience. The room was large, well-decorated, quiet and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The front-desk employees were friendly and professional. Couldn't ask for more!

Great property, beautiful atrium with a great fish tank bar. The front desk was very nice and helpful. The con lounge was nice, good selections. Nice rooms, well appointed, plenty of room, very comfortable. Great location, within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. I will stay here again

We stay here every year when we visit friends for their annual Christmas party. They decorate the entire hotel with magnificent decor for the holidays. The rooms are huge and the luxury is unequaled. This is simply as good as it gets. The bar, restaurant and room service are excellent. The staff is efficient and polite too. Prices are reasonable... More

I've stayed at the Renaissance a few times in the past year, usually for a week at a time and always found the staff to be very welcoming & friendly, the housekeeping performed to a high standard (with plenty of extra toiletries) and the food in the restaurant to be very good. A particular shoutout to Mara in the restaurant... More

We stayed here as a wedding guest and got a reduced rate. The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. We had been promised a King bed, but were given two Queens instead. I wasn't happy so they waived the $9.95 daily wifi fee, (which I thought was free anyway because I am a Marriott rewards member, but... More
