From the moment I walked in the doors, it was perfect. À gentleman escorted me to the concierge desk, that is when Alexis/Lexi checked me in. She EXUDES Marriott standards to a tee. Between asking about my stay, "paying it forward," and just making sure my overall stay was beyond comfortable. The bar made the best old fashioned I've had... More

It was my first time at the Renaissance as I usually stat at the Westin at Domain. I would say it is even better than Westin. Staff is extremely friendly and supportive. Rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. I have no drawbacks to share.

If it's too cold for you when the temp hits the 40s, the Renaissance is a great place for a staycation. We visited on 1/2/15 to watch the bowl games (no cable) and to warm up in the sauna. It's a beautiful hotel and the room was lovely. The bed was superdeliciouscomfortable. The perfect remedy for a cold and rainy... More

Very friendly and professional staff even though they had to work Christmas Eve and Christmas. Clean, big rooms. The bed was very comfortable. And their coffee shop in the Large lobby was open at 7 when we headed out to go home. The Arboretum has many good restaurants and shopping if on we wanted. It's right down Jolleyville Rd, very... I thought this hotel was lovely. Recently stayed here as part of a work event as they paid for all the staff to stay which was a treat for those of us that live in Austin and otherwise most likely would not pay to stay at a hotel in Austin. Parking was easy with many open spaces (and free for... More

We spent one night here when we went to Austin to visit our daughter. It is a beautiful hotel in the middle of lots of shopping and restaurants at the Arboretum in Austin, Tx. Hotel has recently been remodeled. Lobby is large and spacious, very nice décor. I would guess from that layout that it is used to lots of... More

This appears to be a giant conference center location as the atrium area is huge which leaves plenty of room for VERY large parties. The once down side to that is that we could hear when people were loud down below. The rooms were nice and the small cafe in the atrium had good food as well as coffee. The... More

On a September trip to Austin the Renaissance hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute drive from the heart of the city, but is walking distance to a nice outdoor shopping area with plenty of food options. The Renaissance hotel is huge, a lot of conferences are held here due to it's high capacity. Once you... More

To connect to the internet will cost you an amazing $10 per day unless you want to work in the lobby. This is simply not reasonable for conference attendees here for several days. I am here right now using my phone as my internet connection. All the Aveda travel toiletries do not make up for this Dickensian policy.

I have been a guest at the Renaissance Austin Hotel for years and have always been very happy with the service I received when I stay there. My loyalty has been shaken, however, by my recent experience. The company where I work made a reservation for me at the hotel as had been customary. On November 11, 2014, when I... More
