As far as large chain hotels go, the Renaissance Austin is probably about as good as you're likely to get. I spent several days there recently and found the staff to be a friendly team that provides excellent customer service. The rooms were unusually large and very comfortable. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise - much better than you would... More

I attended a conference at this hotel and it was a good experience overall. My room was pleasant, comfortable, and had plenty of space. The bath and body products were Aveda, which I liked. The staff were always nice and helpful. I used the gym and found it to be more than adequate. The only suggestion I would make is... More

My family and I stayed here for the weekend and this place was amazing! Great place, the room was better than San Luis Hotel in Galveston. The grounds were clean. The lobby was huge and has a nice welcoming decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and neat. The bed was comfortable and cozy.... More

We had such an excellent time at the Renaissance Austin. This was our first time in the Austin area...we've visited San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas many, many times but never managed to find our way here. We traveled here to meet some friends and when we got there check-in was quick and easy. The property looks great and it was... More

I stayed at the Renaissance in the Arboretum for business. The hotel is near several restaurants and businesses. The room was nice and the beds are REALLY comfortable. The first time I stayed, I was in an exterior-facing room, but the second time, I had an interior room that overlooked the atrium. The restaurant and bar are in the atrium... More

Great Hotel stay. Their restaurant/Banderas has good choice but the "after meal" service could be better. They appeared to be understaffed. It tool longer than usual to get the ticket. The staff was well informed of the menu selections and excellent service. I would like to see free internet access.

My teenage daughter and I used the Renaissance as jump off point for our BBQ tour weekend getaway to Austin. The hotel was located far enough from downtown Austin that we were not really bothered by the biker crowds in town that week, but close enough for us to make drives to our favorite BBQ places for dinner without to... I stayed at the Renaissance Austin Hotel at the Arboretum in June, 2014. I was in Austin for business and the hotel was convenient to the office I was visiting. The room I was in was new and modern feeling and overlooked the atrium. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The closet is a standard hotel-size... More

The hotel was pretty nice. It is very clean and the staff is amazing. There are so many on hand and willing to help in anyway. The room, however was just a little lacking. I found it odd that there were no drawers in the room. There was no fridge, either. We had reserved a king bed, but there was... More

We recently stayed at the Renaissance Marriott for a weekend trip to Austin, & we can't wait until we are back again. The facility itself is very nice, it is well kept, modern, and somewhat eclectic. Upon check in we were greeted by Nathan. Nathan seemed genuinely happy to help us, and even bumped us up to a signature suite!... More
