Booked one night at the Crown Plaza in Austin and stayed on the "executive" floor. The room just looked like any old hotel room you would see anywhere anytime. It did not look special nor did it rate "executive" status. It would be a fine room for an average price, but we paid premium price for the executive. The free... more

Stayed here on rewards points for three days in October. Stayed in the executive rooms on the 7th floor and they were a bit small but solid rooms. Hotel is right off the frontage road to the freeway so I would ask for a room that faces away or you'll hear the not-so-dim hum of cars through the day/night. There... more

Colleague made reservation the day before on hotel's own site for an executive level room with two beds. Arrived 4:30 the next afternoon (30 minutes after check-in began) and was given a regular double (facing the interstate) with the explanation that there were no exectuve doubles available and that the all the rooms were "pretty much the same anyway." Still... more

I enjoyed my stay here over the weekend for the UT game. The hotel was in good condition, the staff was pleasant, and my room was very nice. Definitely would recommend this to business travelers because it was nice and quite with a comfortable bed. more

I had a long flight from the Oakland area to Austin. My time was limited, but my schedule involved a 45 minute workout on the treadmill when I got to my hotel...When I got to my room I quickly changed into my workout clothes to defer me from taking a power nap.I drank a few sips of energy drink and... more

very nice hotel. Rooms clean, beds comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Restaurant buffet was good, although a little pricey ($11.50 person) for the amount of choices of food offered on it. Pool and hot tub were nice. more

I had 30 rooms reserved at this hotel for two nights. They double booked our rooms and used a vaguely stated clause in the contract to renege. They dropped our reservation leaving us out to dry. Their customer relations is the worst I have ever seen. I am a regular Crowne Plaza guest, and this hotel does not deserve the... more

I was quickly checked in to the hotel around 8pm and the lobby was full of people just leaving an event taking place in the hotel. Even with all the commotion, I was able to quickly check in and was given a room just up the hall on the first floor. The room was spacious, but the bathroom was a... more

This is not the first time to stay at this property. The experience on each ocasssion has been outstanding. TGCA now uses this hotel as the headquarters for our Executive Committee and Board of Directors. We have been given a very competitive rate at a quality full service hotel, and feel we are greatly appreciated for our business every time... more
