This was our third year in a row to stay at Lakeway Resort and Spa. June 30 - July 2. Yes, there were stains on the floor in the hallway, and yes the hotel hallway interior could stand some updating. But the staff was great, we loved our lake view room with balcony, and we had a wonderful time just... More

Well, one guy at the front desk did care. He was very nice and is the ONLY reason we give this hotel a "poor" rating as opposed to a "terrible" rating. Here's what happened - My wife and our two boys were hanging out at the pool, playing cards. The hotel was renovating the nicer one of the two pools... More

Stayed here for four nights and the disaster all started with check in. We arrived about 12 on Wednesday and were told the room was not ready but would be between 3 and 4. We were given a key for the spa and wristbands for the pool. I had a meeting to go to at 3 so I did not... More

Really can't understand any negative reviews. Our stay was fantastic. Paul, Murrial and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable stay. Pools were inviting, restaurant was exceptional, and rooms were spotless. And the view??!!##%% Lake was so blue, we wanted to jump in! I would highly recommend LR&S to anyone wanting a nice... More

What previous reviewers have said is still true. While the staff is certainly friendly enough, they are also highly disorganized and missing the mark in obvious ways. Good and timely room service can't be assumed. Food service, preparation and ingredients were not at an acceptable level. The pool area was pleasant and clean although the fountain drinks were flat because... More

It's almost like A Tale of Two Cities...or in this case, Two Resorts. Some parts of it are excellent, and some are just run down and neglected. The spa and gym are great. The pools and docks are very nice. However, the rooms and halls and public places in the main building need some major renovation. I felt as though... More

We travel and stay in very nice hotels all over the world because of our company Edward Jones. This hotel was not up to par. There were check in issues, staffing issues, generally very poor service overall. I can't fault the staff. They all seemed to be very nice and willing. Obviously, there was a management problem. This was our... More

I came with my family for a weekend getaway, and I really think they charge more than they should for this place. $150-180 per night will be fair but when you paid more than $300 per night you expect above the average quality and service and this place is far from it. The location is really beautiful and has lots... More

We came here to celebrate father's day. Based on the price, we were expecting a luxury resort, especially because the area were it is located is really nice and classy. However, as soon as we got there we could tell that the hotel had no maintenance at all, it looked depressing and very old. The lobby, elevators and halls are... More

Spent two nights here for our 20th anniversary. We needed to be a close driving distance from home and wanted somewhere with a good view, on the water. Property grounds are great. Beautiful pools, lovely common areas such as decks, porches and lobbies. There is a fun pool play area for kids, and it is separate from the adult pools. Spa... More

gsgrace, I am sorry you had such a disappointing stay. Our computer system has suffered a major crash and that has caused some havoc this week. I do hope you will give us another opportunity in the future. Thank you Paul Davis General Manager More
