This is the worst place ever. I'm only here one night thankfully. There is bugs, chewed up base boards from dogs, flaking paint on the ceilings and walls, carpet so dirty my clean socks were black on the bottom when I took them off from walking around the room. The toilet seat had dried pee on it still....they hadn't cleaned... More

We recently stayed here for 3 nights and couldn't wait to get out of there. Every day our room key had to be re-programed and never once were we asked for any identification. All we had to do was give a room number. Anyone could have come into our room. Also agree with previous post regarding music in the homes... More

The room was clean and basic & everything was in working order. La Quinta has a free breakfast including cereal, toast, yogurt juice, fruit, muffins and coffee. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Location is off the main highway. Not much around but a few gas stations and fast food restaurants. The hotel is about 3 miles from downtown. It's an... More

I stayed at this hotel as part of a flight & hotel package, so I really can't complain for the price I paid. There were a few minor issues that I wanted to mention. The room was generally clean (though the hotel could certainly use a fresh coat of paint and some renovations) except there were a few hairs left... More

We stayed here for ACL. A mile walk to SOCO, but you have to cross a highway. The staff are wonderful. Rates were pretty good, but I have had better from La Quinta in the past. Will definitely stay here again for the half marathon in February. Hotel was clean, plenty of parking, we got a great night's sleep. Best... More

We almost always stay at La Quinta Hotels, and have always been satisfied. However, this hotel was a different story. The place is pretty run down and beat up. The rooms reeked of mold (?). The bathroom door hinges were rusted and were barely keeping the door in place. The bathtub didn't have a stopper. There were bugs in the... More

Room smelled musty. There were several homeless guys out front of hotel and sketchy looking folks hanging around the adjacent neighborhood. The room needs updating (chipped paint, closet won't shut, carpets look old, faded and dirty). High Speed wireless internet is a joke; it hardly stays connected long enought to check email. Spend another $8 and go to a Hampton... More

The service at the Oltorf La Quinta was good. All staff was helpful and efficient. The Inn itself was a bit dated and although a refrigerator and microwave was expected in the room, it wasn't there. Seemed like an Inn frequented by out of town labor forces

If you stay at the La Quinta, Oltorf, lower your expectations before you go. Desk clerks were friendly and efficient, but that pretty much exhausted the charm of the place. Room was spartan. "One bed" means a double, not queen, as was once the practice. Room was in poor mechanical shape--torn curtain, closet doors that wouldn't close, loose commode seat,... More
