I stayed here for work. The commute to the capitol complex was easy at 7AM. That's the best I can say about the hotel. No elevator but the desk clerk did offer to carry my bags up the stairs. I was on my own at checkout. Each bed had a visible indention in the middle of it. WiFi was available... More

We stayed at the La Quinta in North Austin and it was just about the best location for any place we went this weekend. There is a great restaurant right in front of this location that serves a great breakfast menu. Amaya's Taco Village. Great food, fantastic service. We found this La Quinta an excellent choice.

While I understand that the area does sell out a great deal on the weekends, this was a last minute stay for us. I asked to see a room prior to paying for it, the clerk ( he would not share his name, nor was he wearing a name tag) refused, and said if you dont like it, I will... More

This was a perfectly good place to rest your head for the night, but it was not a nice hotel by any stretch of the imagination. This is actually a motel -- all the rooms are accessible through an outside door, so you may not want to stay here if that is a concern of yours. First, let's start with... More

It amazes me how much this chain varies in its hotels. I am a fan of the chain and accrue award miles. I chose to stay here while visiting Austin for a couple of days. This location was the least expensive, and I did not want to spend a lot of money. Anyhow, I obtained some additional award points through... More

I would not recommend this hotel at all. This hotel does not measure up to the usual La Quinta standard. The room was very small and smelled like stale smoke, and the bathroom was even smaller. Everything looked old and worn. It definitely needs a facelift!

ROOMS SMELS DISGUSTING! Carpet is filthy even the curtains had stains! First thing I did was buy Febreeze and even that couldn't take the stench away. Had to stay here for a week with my husband for his work, I couldn't wait to leave. I had to wash all our clothes to take that horrible smell out ugh totally totally... More
