I have stayed many times with Embassy Suites... Probably 50 times.. This was our most disappointing stay ever... The hotel is overpriced and outdated- and something went missing during our stay... Called for a room service menu because we didnt have one... never came. Called for an extra blanket- that didn't come either... Love Embassy Suites- just not this one more

Check in was friendly, quick and efficient. The suite was spacious and well appointed. The room had two flat screens, a small desk and couch in the living room. This property has a great location, just steps away from the hike & bike trail and from the Congress Ave bridge where the famous bat flights occur at sunset. I have stayed here twice when traveling with teens to the state academic meets. They are very accommodating and easy to work with. The breakfasts are wonderful and the shuttle to local restaurants is wonderful since parking is so difficult in Austin. My only complaints are that they charge for parking, and I would like their shuttle to go anywhere... more
