The stay was great. Had one small problem half way through my trip, but Embassy suites went above and beyond to make up for it. There was an electrical fire in the room below me and it smoked up my room. I was not upset, these things happen, but embassy suites

The breakfast and food were average, but a good value. The evening reception was very nice and line moved pretty quickly. Hotel room was nice. Only room for improvement would be shuttle service. It was adequate, but could be a little better.

You just can't resist the conveniences an Embassy Suite has to offer. We are just passing through and didn't want to search out restaurants etc. With their free happy hours and free full out - off the menu/buffet or made to order breakfast you just can't beat it. Stress free and back on the road to our destination Staff is... More

Staff were gracious and efficient. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast is best in Austin. Location of hotel makes for easy access and departure. Happy hour staff provide a good place to wind down from the day.

I stayed here for 9 days recently. I must be a masochist. It was without my worst hotel experience in my 25 years of travelling. Systematic failures to address the basics in service and housekeeping plus an infrastructure that is no longer fit for purpose means that I cannot recommend this as a place to stay. Dirty sofas, chairs, bathrooms... More

My wife and I visited here on a recent business trip to the area. This is an older property, but the interior décor is a very nice Texas colonial design with pleasant water features in the central atrium. Our room was the standard ES layout which was large, comfortable and clean. The evening happy hour was well attended and the... More

To start I will say that the Hotel staff was nice, but the decor and rooms are very outdated. I always check hotel beds, and our bed had bed bugs! We were transferred to the 10th floor and didn't find any issues in the room there besides the dated decor. We later found that the hotel is pet friendly, so... More

DivFresh25, Thank you for your review. I appreciate your kind comments about my staff and the pictures you took. The pictures actually show a bright red insect which is a type of spider mite and swarms in the spring in Central Texas. We do immediately take precautions and our exterminator confirmed these items. I am glad you had no issues... More

You need a car to get downtown from here as taxis hard to come by, other guests waited over an hour for a cab to 6th st, we drove but couldn't then drink! Hotel is dated and rather dark. The evening reception was cheap and not worth attending just some chips and popcorn and a drink in a plastic cup.... More

From the moment we entered the lobby to the point of check-out, our stay was perfect. The lobby is beautiful and tranquil, the room was quiet, clean and well-appointed, and the amenities were plentiful.

We just came back from a 1 week trip to Texas, where we spent 6 nights in the Embassy suites Austin central. Most readers probably know Embassy suites in general, so here some specifics how this hotel fits in: - The rooms are OK. They seem somewhat outdated, with bathroom fixtures in need of minor repairs, or AC fans making... More
