I reserved a room and counted on it being at least average quality. After driving for over and hour and a half, we arrived to a top level non smoking room that smelled heavily of smoke and dog. Not only this, the floor had clearly not been swept. The beds had the covers over them but still looked as if... More

Traveling across country with show dogs, we always try to book RR for no frills, clean, and value accommodations for us and our pups. Although our room looked clean this property was filthy. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but the property right across from my room seemed to be a haven for drug dealing and unsavory characters. The RR... More

one of the least expensive motels in Austin makes Red Roof Inn Austin North a Great Value the general manager is great, all the people friendly and accommodating, Great People neighborhood may seem rough but there's never been a problem in the many weeks I've stayed close to downtown and university, etc. rooms are clean, linens clean and good shape,... We spent two nights at this Red Roof Inn while attending our daughter's school state competition. When we arrived, they were very busy checking in groups of school kids but still got to us fairly quickly. We made a request of a first floor room (a couple of days before we arrived) and were accommodated when we checked in. The... More

The room was very nice, the location was great, and my overall stay was excellent. Matt the manager was very professional, and very helpful with all my questions about the area and locations of various activities. I highly recommend this location for anyone to stay at.

Having never stayed at a Red Roof Inn, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’d characterize our eight days at the Red Roof Inn Austin North as satisfactory. They’ve got the basics covered, but amenities are few. This property is a four-story motel. All rooms are accessed externally via stairs or elevator and outside walkways. A swimming pool is the... if you're looking for a lot of amenities then this isn't the hotel for you, but for the price it is well worth it the lobby was under construction while I was there but the lady at the front desk was very polite and helpful I stayed for 3 days and didn't have any complaints with the exception that the... Red Roof Inn is kind of my goto because I often travel with a dog, and there's never a pet fee nor any hassle staying at a Red Roof Inn with a canine friend. However, it's important to note that not all Red Roofs are created equally in terms of quality. Case in point: Red Roof North Austin. Now, this... More

They're doing a good job turning this place around, but progress is kind of slow. The renovated rooms are great, but the place is still in a dicy area. The staff is great and will bend over backwards for you and they still provide USA Today. They could use some Superior King rooms on the first floor
