Our stay here was mostly positive, but there were a few negatives so I will break this review down into the good points and the bad ones. The Good: 1. Room size was bigger than we would of expected. 2. The bed was a nice large King size. 3. Had a safe, microwave, fridge, and desk. Typically only find that... more

Thank you. We appreciate your continued business and look forward to having you back again soon. We took a big risk about a year ago, taking over a property that the former owner had neglected. However, we put a lot into making it into a hotel we could be proud of and building a team that would offer you, our...

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks from May 19 to June 2 of 2009. It had undergone new and extensive renovations and was in better than ever condition, something not addressed by any reviews on this board since none are recent. The front desk was manned 24 hours a day, and they were always friendly and willing to... more

Thank you rob for your nice comments, especially regarding the staff. We have made extensive renovations and definitely offer extra amenities not usually found at this price range, but I am always most happy to hear that our staff has treated you well. While sometimes things may not quite go as planned, we strive to make sure our service is...

The next morning, I had a group of people in front of my door making a lot of noise. When I got my bag ant went out the door, they started yelling and cussing at me. The manager after the 4th time I called down, the night clerk got mad at me and told me " If you don't like... more

Thank you so much for your recent business at our hotel. I apologize about the disturbance that the cheerleading group was causing. Our night manager did try several times to quiet them but after midnight he is also the only one available at the front and was challenged with manning the front office and going up to the 3rd floor...

I honestly can't believe anyone could give this hotel any rating other than HORRIBLE. I'm not so jaded that i need slippers at my hotel... I just don't want to have to wear shoes all the time because the carpet is so dirty. This place is absolutley scarey! Do NOT stay here. I was looking for something near downtown and... more

Please note that we had only been able to complete our purchase of this hotel right around the time of this review and since then have initiated an extensive renovation. We have addressed some of the issues immediately with much needed staff changes and training. We are also completely renovating inside and out to restore this hotel to the position...

This hotel really isn't that bad.......yeah it's in need of renovations/repairs and I get the feeling it's not the best neighborhood but it still isn't that bad. The staff is friendly. It has interior corridors which make you feel safer. Like I said the rooms do need some minor repairs and renovations but we rarely spent much time in the... more

This Days Inn isn't bad. It has interior hallways, which makes it a step up from your run-of-the-mill Days Inn. However, the lighting in the room could use a huge upgrade. The room was always dark. They should also make sure that the guests get the room that they reserved. I booked a certain room, and didn't get it. A... more

I want to make it clear that as the new management of this property, we understand that the hotel can use updating. We have an extensive and exciting renovation planned which we will be starting very soon. In the meantime, we are doing everything to improve those factors within our power. We promise you an excellent location, conveniently located near...

Traveller from Scotland, UK We stayed here for four nights from the 20th 24th March. I booked this hotel directly after seeing it on expedia and i wanted a non-smoking room and I also got it at the expedia rate. After reading other reviews I booked intially for two nights, but we extended our stay for four nights as we... more

I got bed bug bites. My husband was taking a state test and I was in the room all day with a newborn. The picture on the internet wasn't anywhere near the same quality it showed. The bathroom was split up, and the sink counter was beat up looking. The picture looked acceptable for the short stay we were intending.... more

Booked small group for UT/Ohio State game weekend at this modest Days Inn that is in the middle of remodeling. Best rate for non-motel near downtown Austin and UT. The rooms are very clean and the staff helped our group with local suggestions, directions and extra services. I would give this hotel a solid 3 Stars. FYI - Great Staff more
