Phoebe was a great caring host at this historic and quaint little B&B in Austin, Tx. We're from California and relatively new to B&B. We met great people, the history was interesting, and the service as good as one would expect at a B&B. It is very near the UT campus and downtown which we found entertaining. My wife and I just returned from a four-night stay over the July 4th holiday, and had a wonderful time. Not only is Carrington's Bluff a beautiful, comfortable home in a lush, peaceful setting (and just blocks from downtown Austin), but Phoebe, the innkeeper, goes above and beyond the call of duty with her Texas-sized hospitality. Just returned from a stay in Austin. Loved the city and couldn't be happier with our stay at Carrington's Bluff. A very relaxed and hospitable bed and breakfast. The setting is lovely with garden lit up at night. Breakfast was delicious. Phoebe was a wonderful hostess. For the reasonable price, this place can't be beat. more

We found this cozy b&b looking for a place near UT, where our daughter is doing research during this summer. The peaceful house is located in a forest on a hill. Phoebe, the inkeeper, is a young and friendly lady with a joyful baby, who please each and every host. We recommend the place without reserves. more
