Had a wonderful stay over the holiday. Great view and trails, lake was great to look at but to cold. Breakfast was divine, blueberry pancakes were to die for. The room had wonderful antiques and a cozy feel about it. Besides the website having alot of information,Kelly was very helpful. Planning a family reunion here for the summer when the weather is... more

If dirty tubs with stains, pubic hairs, and caked on filth, horrible unsanitized kitchen, stained & smelly carpets covered up by cheap throw rugs are you thing then you will feel right at home here. I would NOT stay here ever again, even if it was free! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The old saying of "you get what you... more

The Robin's Nest is in need of much attention. Room was dirty, cheetah sheets on the bed, I got pink eye, breakfast was served on paper dixie plates, and the biscuits were at least 5 days old. We were the only guests there during our stay and when we came down for 9am breakfast the cook promptly gave us a... more

We stayed here looking for a romantic place near Austin but were extremely disappointed. The rooms were very dusty and not very well kept. The furniture was very worn, we noticed a large crack in our bed frame and worn seats on chairs. We had asked for flowers in the room upon arrival and there were none. Most of the... more

We had the most incredible and lovely wedding at Robin's Nest. Robin, Kelly and Tom were so helpful in every way possible. Our breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were comfortable. We felt like we were staying with family rather than some impersonal hotel. After reading a few of the reviews on here we'd like to set the record straight.... more

The web site looks great. We wanted a weekend get away on a lake. Very disappointing choice. Maybe its too many rooms or not enough help, the place is starting to look run down. Robin was not very friendly, barely civil. She appeared stressed out and tired. Breakfast time not an option - 9am. Didn't arrive to the room till 9:30(only... more

We stayed in the Robin's Perch. The decor was horrible, no view from the room. The toilet was always clogged up. The innkeeper’s help stayed up all night with partying. I was very disappointed with B&B. Quirky or not…I didn’t like eating breakfast off of paper plates and drinking OJ from plastic glasses. And the place was dirty. Even the... more

I used to live in Austin in my college days and always enjoyed the funky vibe the area exudes. Robin's Nest is no exception--if you are looking for funky and quirky, then this is the place. However, the funky and quirky bordered on dirty (our room was full of knick knacks that hadn't been dusted in ages) and unaccomodating--the large... more

We read the review from the obvious disgrutled person and cannot believe what she said.....sorry to all but she must have been from New York City.....there is no way Robin would ever say what was stated!!! We love this place and have returned over and over for 5 years!! Robin isn't your average Innkeeper and we love her for that.... more

Happy to hear that Lake Travis is back after a years-long drought, we started planning our trip by surfing the web for accomodations. Robin's Nest looked promising, so we followed up with a phone call to Robin and liked her welcoming and warm attitude. Robin's Nest proved to be very versatile. It is located at about the 14th mile marker... more
