The hotel provides upscale services and personal products mixed with greatly appreciated daily-needs services (I.e., guest washer and dryer). The affiliated restaurant, Charly's has great quality food with ample servings at a more than reasonable price (especially for CA residents) -- e.g., a bowl full of Cherrios was served with a cup each of bananas and strawberries for $2.00). Staff... More

I spent two nights here while attending a meeting at the JW Marriott. It was a convenient walk between the two properties. The breakfast offerings were good. The Courtyard shares the same facility with the Residence Inn. My room was clean and quiet.

Arrived at this hotel and was almost mulled by a friendly staff of four, welcoming me and immediately ensuring I was greeted. Had an AMAZING guest service concierge, Yumiko Y., who was detailed about the hotel amenities, surrounding restaurants and other pertinent information. My hotel and my room was immaculately cleaned -- one of the best I've seen for a... More

The place is a bit dark and drab. The guy that checked me in said about 10 words the entire process. Not friendly at all. The wifi is very slow even after purchasing the upgraded speed. The room had a musty smell. No breakfast. They directed me to a restaurant next to the hotel which had a $13 price for... More

We thought we were staying in the Residence Inn, but when we arrived we ended up in a Courtyard room. Same lobby, but you head up different elevators depending on which hotel you're in. I arrived with leftovers from lunch, expecting to heat them up in the microwave after they'd spent the afternoon in the refrigerator, but that's one of... More

This is an older Courtyard with typical amenities for that era. I would not stay here again unless I absolutely had to be in downtown Austin. The transients in the area are noticeable. The staff is courteous and friendly. I assume the hotel rates are competitive for the area, but are very high and not a good value. This is... More

decor a bit tired and dated but room all clean. Pool and gym both very tiny and nowhere really to change easily. Very handy for metro station and staff very helpful, several places nearby to grab breakfast. Probably spoiled by staying the previous 2 nights at the JW Marriott.

We spent another night in Austin while taking in a play. We were greeted by a friendly valet service who directed us to the hotel entrance detour because of construction on the Courtyard entrance. It looks as if the hotel is closed because of the barricades and closed drive. The desk staff was very friendly and with minimum check-in time... More

We planned a family weekend getaway and since I am the only native Texan we decided on Austin for a little history and a lot of fun! We drove from DFW after work on a Thursday and arrived around 9 pm. The valet was quick to help with the car and bags and the front desk checked us in quickly.... More

The location is perfectly spotted downtown Austin. Walking distance to the majority of the great restaurants. The Residence Inn rooms are very roomy and comfortable - kitchenette, the living room area. They have a full service Starbucks for those that are a fan like me. They have a nice rooftop space for those that need an outdoor space for a... More
