We reserved a casita, which was a comfortable double queen suite with a separate living room / kitchenette with full frdige, microwave and dishwasher. I really appreciated that we could plug our MP3 player into the clock radio and play lullabies to put the kids to sleep, and shut the bedroom door and have adult time in the living room.... more

We were very pleased with all of the decor and the initial greeting by the staff. We had a bit of trouble with the thermostat in the room and were served by the maintainence guys faster than we could have hoped for... a little problem connecting with the wifi in the room but the front desk was very kind to... more

After driving in circles to find this place (a series of long one way roads make it very difficult from the highway) I was nicely greeted but was told I could not get anything to eat (11pm) because the bar (which still had people drinking in it) was closed. The room was very 1980's decorated (maybe earlier) and things felt... more

This hotel is horrible! The pictures make the hotel look great but this hotel is horrible DONT NOT STAY HERE! When we first checked in we had a cabana reserved so we go to our room and the room had a HORRIBLE smell. The description of the room says the patio opens directly to the poolside. WRONG there is a... more

My dad, a friend of his, and I stayed here last night after the brutal UT vs Texas Tech game, and there are some things I want to mention about it. First, the front desk was REALLY friendly and helpful, which is always a good thing. Second, the hotel is a lot like a European hotel (You have to put... more

Two gripes: Could not get air conditioning to stay active. Uncomfortable bed. Everything else nice, I can tell they put a lot of money into fixing up the old HoJo. Room had a nice view of downtown Austin. Free parking and easy access to Interstate 35 and the airport. Very quiet. more

We stayed in an executive king on the fifth floor. It was clean. The bedding, linens, and all the pillows were nice. The mattress was okay. Don't expect a four star hotel mattress. The bath and body works amenities were great. I had a problem with the hair dryer and it was replaced promptly. The front desk was always helpful and friendly.... more

My wife and I stayed there as a leisure trip. You can tell that it was an older hotel that has been updated, and overall it was a good experience. It was a bit hard to navigate to the hotel as it is on a frontage road but everything in Austin off IH-35 is on a frontage road. Once you... more

Wyndham Gardens was recommended to me for my 3-day stay, as it was close to the location of the business I was working with. I arrived in the early evening and check-in was easy. Shortly after check-in, there was a knock on my door.....un-nerving for a single female. It was the maintenance man replacing the air conditioner filter (I was... more
