This hotel is located, south of downtown, right on I-35 but also close to Congress Ave. so it is relatively easy to access, given the vagaries of Austin traffic. One Austin-centric touch: The first floor halls are filled with photos of Austin musicians and the photos have interesting information too. Our room was spacious and had good work space, if... More

We booked a room with one bedroom n when we got there it was nice. When we got there the front desk was polite but later when we came down to report the broken telephone and the toilet was broken the front desk was to busy playing uno to show any empathy or even apologize for the inconvenience. After we... More

The staff provided excellent service even prior to our arrival. Zach D. kept his word and checked in with me before check-in and personally orchestrated a special request. Our stay was very pleasant and we had no complaints other than the fact that we couldn't stay longer.

I was there for a training. The service was nice, great staff. The carpet in the hallways a little dirty. The restaurant has a good variety. Besides the regular menu, they have a different and yummy lunch buffet for $11. They only have one shuttle, which was most of the time taking guest ti the airport so I really couldn't... More

I stayed here for 6 nights. The room is clean and it is located close to St David's South where my husband went in for by-pass surgery. The bathroom sink faucet leaked continuously, dirty glassware was not replaced or removed, the a/c turns itself off after reaching temp...you must get up and turn it back on, lighting in the room... I am so sorry you experienced several maintenance issues on your recent stay with us. In the event that you did not notify the front desk about your concerns, do you mind contacting me directly? I would like the opportunity to both apologize and ensure that any issues in the room you were in are fully taken care of before... More

The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly, but it is a bit dated feeling and the proximity to the Interstate makes it bit loud. Not excessively noisy, but there is a constant drone of traffic noise. Good for a night, but not week long vacation and yes, the rooms are damp as noted by other travelers.

The hotel wasn't as spacious or upscale as those I'm used to having work meetings in, and the location wasn't conducive to seeing the town at all - getting to downtown Austin required a $20 cab ride each way. The bathroom was small and dark, and the decor was southwestern blah. But the bed was comfortable, the room clean, the... More

I stayed in this hotel for one night, after missing the last flight of what was supposed to be a same day turnaround from Detroit to Austin. The desk staff was slow, but effective, once they finally provided service. The room was freezing and seemingly damp. It was unseasonably cool outside, which exaggerated the low temperature and damp feeling in... More

Thank you for making note of the cleanliness of the rooms and service levels of our hotel team. We are conveniently located adjacent to IH-35. While a positive note for most of our guests, we can certainly understand how this could pose a problem to our sensitive sleepers. The main building is five stories tall, and we offer a large... We stayed with kids for a weekend and it was OK. They remodel and the lobby is amazing, but halls and rooms still look old. They did remodel some things in there, but did not look too good. I think the price was too high for what the hotel is. Mattresses were terrible, that for sure. Pillows were not too... More
