I've stayed at this hotel twice over the past three years. I like the location very much -- close to all the downtown Austin action - -6th St if you are young, 5th street if you enjoy more adult fun. Close to good restaurants, Moody Theater, shopping and if you are a runner -- easy to get to the river... More

Was at a conference oct 5 through oct 8,2014. Beautiful hotel. Excellent location and rooms. Great service. Staff friendly. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Classy place. Even though over 500 people at our conference hilton had everything clean and organized

This was our second stay at the Hilton, and the renovations they've done over the past year are great. Rooms are comfortable and very functional. Tons of outlets and even USB chargers on each side of the bed. Very well thought out. Wifi is free for Hilton Honors or if you have Uverse. Everyone we dealt with-valet, front desk, bellhop,... More

Stayed there last month for a conference at the hotel. The hotel was recently remodeled, so the room was really in great shape overall. Not sure I'm in love with the electronic controls they've installed, as some worked better than others and one lamp just seemed to have a mind of its own. A minor annoyance at best. I had... More

First the good - they are remodeling the hotel, and it surely does need it. The location is great for the convention center and the in house restaurant - Finn and Porter is very nice. Now for the bad, the remodeled rooms are very poorly done, lose grout in the bathroom, peeling paint on the doors and really cheap furniture.... More

Stayed here for a large conference held at the convention center. Located nearby restaurants, the capitol and UT. Right next to Sixth Street on one side with easy access to the convention center on the other. Stayed in a clean, quiet, comfortable, large corner room with 2 queen beds. Fridge came in handy to store leftovers. Fitness center was in... More

Overall this is a nice hotel. The lobby is beautiful and rooms are spacious and clean. However, every night of my stay there was loud music playing which made it difficult to sleep. I reported it to the staff, but nothing was done to address the issue. I would not stay at this Hilton again if I return to Austin.

I had a long 8 night stay here for attending a conference. Room had fresh contemporary design and nice view into the downtown area. I managed to find time during my early jet-lag awakenings to enjoy their heated roof top pool, and nice view from the pool area. I choose hotel since it was conference venue, but location was near... First off, I would like to say thank you to the great team of Nicolas (hotel manager) and LaTonya (reservationist) for making my rocky start stable. I was there for the Austin City Limits Festival in Zilker Park this past weekend...amazing music, place, and city. The hotel is in walking distance or stones throw away to 6th street (all the... Comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Walls are a little thin-was woken up by people next door at 2am. Wifi is not free. Gorgeous hotel. Right next door to convention center, close to restaurants, shopping.
