I love the Hilton brand but this hotel was terrible. No vending. no "convenience". The executive lounge calls chex mix Hors d'oeuvre. tiny rooms you can get for a fraction of the price at a Hampton. uninformed staff. would not recommend

We had a weekend trip to Austin for the 4th/my wife's birthday. Our trip was great. The location on this Hilton was perfect, on 6th, and walking distance to everything we wanted to do at night (Restaurants, bar hop, & night clubs). The hotel is a little pricey, but we didn't mind paying for convenience. Would def stay again.

Stayed in the Austin Hilton for three nights and we were very pleased. We were greeted by Hector when we checked in and he was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful...an excellent ambassador for the hotel! Our room had been recently renovated, it was large and very comfortable. It was very clean and well stocked; beds, pillows and towels were all... More

Stayed here for two nights over Fourth of July weekend. Hotel is slightly older with dated rooms. Staff were efficient and courteous, housekeeping was good. Great central location, close to everything downtown has to offer.

I was looking for a simple getaway with a friend. We wanted a place to relax, swim in a nice pool, stay in and watch some movies, and really just get away from it all for a day! It was fun pretending we were travelers in our own city. Having myself stayed in everything from Holiday Inn's to some of... More

Great location--I was here for a conference and appreciated being downtown. The room I had was newly renovated, spacious and nice. The downside was that they charged for wifi, which is tacky for what purports to be a high end hotel. Also I paid the fee (a small one) but could only get wifi in my room and the lobby,... More

Great business travel hotel. They had all the right amenities and creature comforts. All the basics were 100% spot on.... safety, cleanliness, room/bed comfort, noise level, etc. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone on the road.

We were in Austin for Univ of TX graduation so as you can imagine most hotels were packed. We had requested 4 rooms on a high floor away from the elevator. That is just what we were assigned & the rooms were all together. That may not sound like a big deal but we have reserved blocks of rooms elsewhere... More

The Austin Hilton-Convention Center provided a great experience. The newly remodeled rooms are spectacular and the in-house restaurants are very good. Finn and Porter offers one of the best steaks I have EVER eaten. All in all the hotel and services are exceptional.

After reading several reviews on Trip Advisor and finding a competitive price using the website's search engine, my wife and I decided to stay at the property during a special trip to Austin. We stayed in room 2405 with a fantastic view of Lake Austin that also overlooked the pool area. Our room, as well as much of the property,... More
