Perfect B&B in a quiet, yet central location of Austin. Close proximity to some terrific local restaurants. Reasonable price for a B&B. more

My wife and I loved our stay at the Brava house. Robin and Mary have an excellent operation, and were extremely hospitable, helpful, and just generally made us feel welcome and comfortable. Our room (the Casablanca room) was perfect for us. The house and our room have a historical charm, and the room itself was comfortable, very clean, cozy, and... more

Beautiful rooms that are very nicely furnished. Excellent location! Very central but on a quite street. Close to restaurants, 6th street, convention center, and the hike and bike trails. Robin and Mary are very nice and give excellent tips about places to visit and where to eat. You can rent bikes with helmets and locks - a great plus! more

My two sisters and I just completed our second stay to celebrate a birthday and enjoy the Oscars in Brava House's appropriately named Marilyn Monroe Suite. It is roomy and comfy and charming. Robin and Mary are cordial and cheery and helpful in every way possible. The location is ideal, with good shops even in walking distance. We love this... more

If you are visiting Austin, there is only one place to stay and that is the Brava House. We spent most of our recent honeymoon there and it was wonderful. We received a warm welcome from the innkeeper, and our room was even better than the photo - spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. (It was the Garbo.) We do not like... more

This was a great bed and breakfast. This was our first time ever at a bed and breakfast and it was great. It is in a great location with lots of amenities to suit every traveler. I was impressed even being close to downtown it was really quite. Look forward to staying there again. more

The Monroe suite was roomy and accommodating. It was almost like being at home. It was a lovely place for my adult daughter and me to enjoy a cozy, quiet Christmas togehter. On the windowseats in the living room we placed poinsettias and decorated our own little Christmas tree. Even though it was an exceptionally warm Christmas, we burned a... more

I recently had 8 night stay at the Brava House while attending a conference at the Austin Convention Center. It was the perfect location for my stay -- a large homey room, great breakfasts, close to the convention center (5 minutes by car) and walkable to many restaurants and the fabulous Whole Foods store. The free parking and free wireless... more

I used to live in Austin and now travel back regularly for business. This B&B is now my preferred place to stay because it reminds me of the best parts of old Austin, which are slowly receding and in their place new pretentious places are progressing. Brava House is charming -- nice folks and generous breakfasts. It is a short... more
