We stayed here for 4 nights and were very impressed with the rooms and the level of service. There are only 7 rooms in this hotel, so book early! The rooms were immaculately clean and the beds were super comfortable. There are also two outdoor areas where you can lounge and meet other people that are staying there. Everyone working... More

With only seven rooms to service, the attentive staff at this Austin cutie have plenty of time and attention to ensure their guests have a great stay. We loved the architecture and design, both restaurant recommendations they provided were fantastic, and the hotel provides bikes and beach towels so you can enjoy the parks and springs all around town. We had a fantastic stay at your wonderful hotel!! It was much more than we had ever imagined. You have created a masterpiece!! Your personal note to us was extra special, as well as your hospitality. You gave my husband instructions on where to go for a run, recommended neat places to go for lunch and dinner, and we used... More

If I only had one word to describe the Heywood Hotel, it would be PERFECT. The Heywood exceeds expectations in every way from the booking process to the comfort and style of the rooms. The property is immaculate as are the uniquely appointed guest rooms. We stayed whilst on our honeymoon and the complimentary prosecco was a lovely surprise. Our... More

A very charming hotel, with a very comfortable and well appointed room. We stayed only one night, but the service was great and despite us arriving hours later than predicted, the lady at the front desk was patient and friendly and helpful in waiting for us to arrive. I also needed a cab at 4am in the morning and the... More

The light is wonderful and the decor is architecturally modern without being cold. The location is fantastic if you are doing business in the center of the city. Bars and food nearby are great. I love the east side of Austin. Its feels like the old Austin and not the new "California" Austin. I was delighted to find that the... More

My husband I needed a hotel in Austin last weekend - it so happened that the X Games were being held in Austin that weekend and our "normal" hotels were not available. After doing some internet searches we found the Heywood Hotel. What a great hotel! There are only 7 rooms. Rooms 3-7 are all upstairs surrounding a quaint patio.... More

The staff was helpful and room was comfortable. The lounge outside the room is delightful. It is really not a B & B rather a boutique hotel that serves coffee and tea in the morning. We stayed in the queen bee room that has a shower with a wonderful skylight. I suggested to the management that they should add bathrobes... More

I held a Board of Directors Meeting in Austin recently and booked several rooms for my various board members and myself. Prior to booking, the owner Kathy contacted me to discuss our request for reservations as she wanted to ensure that a "large", relatively speaking, booking did not disturb her other guests. I took this as a great sign and... More

We only stayed for a night, but had a comfortable room. The owner was extremely helpful with suggestions in the area. Located just off of downtown in East Austin, which has a wealth of new and exciting bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.
