First off the staff at the Hyatt Place are friendly and helpful. They greet you with a smile and answer any questions you may have. The hotel grounds are clean, the pool is a nice size and easy to enjoy with tables/umbrellas. The room we had was very spacious, 2 beds and I sleeper sofa. 2 adults and 3 kids... More

We stayed here for one night, 8/14/14 and have paid more for so much less. The room was large, comfortable and very clean and modern looking. The room had a large flat screen TV, free wifi, comfy pillows, a living area with large couch and desk. A continental breakfast was offered. I could not have anything, but they had breakfast... More

2 night say. Clean, nice, quiet. restaurant close by. Desk people very helpful BUT forgot to mention all the downtown construction that changed street direction and one ways. Didn't know about the double decker bus that is new to downtown.

nice, clean, big rooms with oddly small bathrooms. decent breakfast, but they need to stay on top of keeping coffee and food replenished better. it's tucked back a little so quiet. Applebee's is a 1/2 block away. food you can order from lobby 24/7 was better than expected. staff was friendly and efficient. I'd stay here again.

We stayed one night, and it was fine. Nothing special. The shower leaked, and the view was of a huge air conditioner on a "balcony". Bed was quite comfortable, and the room was clean. I did wonder if this was an original Hyatt Place. It seemed to be remodled somehow. The location was good, but it was a little pricey... More

Enjoyed a one-night stay. The service was great. Near the registration desk there was a nice variety of food choices available in a deli case or by special order -- this was very welcome after missing dinner because of a delayed flight. The room had free WiFi. The arrangement of the room was comfortable, and everything appeared clean. Breakfast was... More

We had a nice visit to this hotel in mid-July, 2014. The room was very clean, with a good bed and excellent AC unit. Nice selection of cable TV channels, including 5 HBO options. Staff met expectations, and the breakfast was typical for Hyatt Place. There never seems to be enough seating for breakfast at Hyatt Place hotels, but it... More

We stay from July 9-13, the hotel was very nice and clean. But I wish they would have hot running water instead of warm. Be very careful about leaving your stuff around, you have sticking fingers. Someone took our phone charger out of our room.

This hotel was priced just right. Very friendly staff, complimentary breakfast had a good variety. We were in town for an event at the convention center, but hotels closer were pretty pricey. So we took a chance and stayed a little farther away. It was an easy 10 minutes to the convention center, especially for a holiday weekend.

We stayed 3 nights in Austin at this hotel - pool was nothing to get excited about, but the basic and simplistic approach to a hotel was nice. Room very clean with angled big screen so you could watch from 'living room' or 'bedroom'. Sectional sofa was enjoyed by my 9yr old who made a fort out of it. Roomy... More
