This hotel had its pros and cons. Overall, the hotel was comfortable, but I would choose somewhere else to stay next time. Pros Great service. All the staff were friendly and very nice to deal with. Good size room. Mine had a fold-out couch, along with the standard desk, refrigerator with sink and wide-screen television with multiple computer inputs and... more

I booked the hotel not realizing it's a little out of the way of town, but we had rented a car for our time in Texas (took a 2 day jaunt to San Antonio) so 10 min. ride was not bad. The hotel was very roomy with 2 queen beds and a double sofa bed in a separate sitting area.... more

Our first experience with the Hyatt Place brand was at this location just after it opened. It left such a great impression that we have continued to choose Hyatt Place whenever possible. Our most recent visit at the Austin North Central location showed their continued efforts at maintaining Hyatt quality. The rooms are very clean and well-furnished (ex. very nice... more

Stayed here for one night in November 2008. I had heard about these newly renovated Hyatt Places and their aiming at Gen-Y, but this was my first time to stay at one. I must say they did an excellent job. The lobby is open and has lots of seating for small groups. There is an open kitchen that serves prepared... more

Stayed at due to work in Austin. Comfy Bed with very comfy pillows. 42" LCD TV withall the hookups you could imagine. Living room area. All the rooms are apparently this big. It was Hyatt Place Austin-North I think. About $120/night, nothing fancy downstairs, but I thought the room was great. Including coffee/large shower. The TV made the stay nice... more

My boyfriend and I have stayed at the Hyatt Place in Austin and in Dallas and we have LOVED them both! The rooms are clean, and so great! The pictures don't do them justice. I NEVER had any problems checking in or out. Anything we needed the staff was more than willing to help - from towels to directions. They... more

This hotel is definitely not up to Hyatt standards. The staff was friendly, but when I needed to speak with a manager regarding the cleanliness of the room, there was none to be found. The elevators had trash on the floors, and the shower had some mold in it. The housekeeper forgot to clean the bathroom one morning that we... more

I decided to stay here because it was "new". The Hotel is just o.k. It is a renovated Amerisuites. I would have muched rather stayed at a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express for what I received for the $98 price. The only "free hot breakfast” they have is toast & bagels. Everything else hot you have to pay for... more

As soon as you walk in the lobby you can tell that this hotel is very nice and modern. The lobby staff were very nice and friendly, we didn't check in until around 10PM and they were still very polite. When we got to the room there was a nice living area and bed. The TV is situated in the... more

If you have to pay over $65/night, try another place. Even after the remodel, it has a motel feel. I stayed at this place for about 2 months before wising up. It's not exactly in the best area, and sometimes, its guests are shady, which is especially important to me as a female business traveler who pretty lives at hotels.... more
