Checked in on Friday afternoon, and while my husband was unloading the car, I used th bathroom in our room. Well, after a little bit of panic, when I tried to get out of the bathroom and the door would not open! After about 5 minutes of pulling and yanking at the door, it finally did open. I could see... I stayed here for business due to it's location and price and could not have been more disappointed. Check in took 20 min and we were the only guests there. While checking in, guests came by to complain of leaking water pipes, out of service toilets, etc. A thick, recent coat of paint haphazardly covers all services and the hotel... More

I am staying here for about two weeks. The room itself is OK, and what it would be expected for an extended stay homestead suite. Not too fancy but if you are not into HD TV or any other luxury commodities then its the room for you. Nice to be able to cook something on the electric stove they have... More

My Lady Friends and I have been to y'all's fine establishment A total of 3 times. Our second visit we met Nick. He was very sweet and professional. We I called to make reservations for our third visit, Nick remembered me from a few weeks earlier. In my book that is wonderful, especially with all the guest that go through... More

Michelle at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Room was simple and clean. Just what we needed. It is an 'extended stay' suite, so remember to bring shampoo and conditioner. Hair dryer is provided. If you forget anything, just ask the front desk. We plan to stay there again in May.

This "extended stay" hotel is in a great location near "SoCo" just outside downtown Austin and provides a walkable stay - except that you cannot walk about the room without tripping on something. The bed in the "Deluxe King Suite" was shoved up against one wall such that the person on that side could not get into or out of... More

My husband and I stayed here for a conference at the downtown convention center. The location was within walking distance. Free parking in the hotel parking lot meant we didn't have to worry about paying every time we went somewhere. We ended up walking almost everywhere anyway. The rooms are plain but fairly well kept. Our room was very quiet.... More

The Homestead Studio Suites hotel in downtown Austin is one of the best hotels with kitchens we have stayed in. The personnel were very helpful, the location couldn't be better, the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed and it was very clean. The front desk had some toiletries we had forgotten at no cost and, that was surprising and... More

If you're looking for location--specifically downtown Austin-- this is a great place. After that, not too much good to say. I will give credit to Nick at the front desk. Very courteous young man who tried to help with the problems listed below. Unfortunately, he was a one-man show that evening. It was obvious the room had not been cleaned... More

Great location in the center of the city, but hotel was dirty, old, and was too expensive for what you get.
