We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in Austin, the hotel is in a great location, no fee for parking (which is huge for a hotel so close to Downtown Austin). The rooms were ok, furniture was dated, very basic decor, nothing spectacular. The look and feel of the room were not all that important since we spent... More

I really am OK with 2 & 3 star hotels and only a fool goes to Austin to spend time in the hotel. But this one is dated and unclean. Too bad. It’s a four star location. You are close to the running paths around the lake and you can also walk (stumble) to SoCo. I took a morning stroll... More

Great location close to everything - but infested with German Cockroaches!! Yuck!! Also internet signal is very low. Unable to complete work-related tasks due to low signal strength. I guess middle-eastern manager considers cockroaches acceptable - not me - won't be back!!

This is the first Homestead I've stayed in and was pleased with the room, especially given the price and proximity to downtown. We were put into an accessible room so not sure if all the rooms are as big but ours was great.

When we opened the door to our room, a trail of ants and a roach were eating sugar left on the kitchen counter. The nightstand had a sticky, unidentified substance on it. It was late, so we cleaned what we could and decided to stay the night. We reported the problems at the front desk the next day and the... More

Front desk employees Michelle and Nick are just outstanding; very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! The room we got, and we may have lucked out with #204, was comfortable; everything was clean and functioning. I felt it was laid-back and very safe. Although the hotel was full, I couldn't hear anyone else at all, but I didn't feel like I had... More

Checked in on Friday afternoon, and while my husband was unloading the car, I used th bathroom in our room. Well, after a little bit of panic, when I tried to get out of the bathroom and the door would not open! After about 5 minutes of pulling and yanking at the door, it finally did open. I could see... I stayed here for business due to it's location and price and could not have been more disappointed. Check in took 20 min and we were the only guests there. While checking in, guests came by to complain of leaking water pipes, out of service toilets, etc. A thick, recent coat of paint haphazardly covers all services and the hotel... More

I am staying here for about two weeks. The room itself is OK, and what it would be expected for an extended stay homestead suite. Not too fancy but if you are not into HD TV or any other luxury commodities then its the room for you. Nice to be able to cook something on the electric stove they have... More

My Lady Friends and I have been to y'all's fine establishment A total of 3 times. Our second visit we met Nick. He was very sweet and professional. We I called to make reservations for our third visit, Nick remembered me from a few weeks earlier. In my book that is wonderful, especially with all the guest that go through... More
