We visited Austin as a family to compete in the 2015 US Taekwondo Championships and had a great time experience at Oak Forest. We arrived on July 3rd to self check-in and everything was in place for our arrival. The park was clean, quiet, and the staff was awesome for anything we needed. Our 4 kiddos enjoyed the pool and... We stayed here in a travel trailer for 10 days in June. Loved the pool and hot tub. Nice showers. We were able to stream using the internet, but we were quite close to the office. Very friendly managers. To their credit, they were doing a lot of maintenance to the grounds, but there was a lot of noise from... More

Park is very well kept and clean. The Staff is truely friendly and will to help your stay to be enjoyable. The ammenities are in good condition and easily available. Easy acces to downtown Austin, The University, Johnson Library, and State Capital. A great place to stay close in. Concrete pad sites with updated hookups.

Traveling through, we use this RV park has a base for our visiting Austin. It was very easy to get into the city and our pull through spot was easy in easy out. They only have a few spots left for transient visitors, so call ahead to make a reservation before stopping by. The staff was very nice and helped... More

PROS: well maintained, spacious sites, plenty of pull throughs, water, sewer and trash are housed in one location. Pool, clubhouse, laundry facilities are spotless and inviting. Staff was never rude very pleasant to deal with. Park is located in a very nice area of Austin. CONS:The reason for my title is because we were disappointed that when we asked for... More

The first thing travelers have to say about Austin is, "I-35 sucks!" If your RV stay in Austin requires a return to the area around UT or 6th and Congress, all other RV parks will have you sitting in your towed car, wondering how much money is wasted by Austin on non-existent traffic planning. But at Oak Forest RV park,... More

The management or what you want to call Gary and Kristine that is so lazy and won't take care of this park. I am a full time and they don't seem to care about the full timers, which is your bread and butter clients. You can't even goto the office and ask your yard to be mowed over 6 wks... More

Only two suggestions for the owners: tile the bathroom floors and get a quieter blower or have the guy work faster. Everything else was very nice. We liked the distance to town, the security and the cleanliness. Staff was available but not bothersome. We were here in a motorhome. Site 2 was great. We would definitely stay here again!
