It's not bad, but it could with a bit more TLC. It's real problem lies in the fact that it is a bit far from downtown and Austin's public transportation is terrible. You could constantly hear the noise coming from Interstate 35. More

Andrea greeted us with a smile and was very helpful. Breakfast was good and stocked. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, including bathroom. Great location for UT and Capitol activities. Wonderful mexican food and seafood within walking distance. Looked like rooms were freshly painted too. Great price, great location, great service. More

The beds were SOO uncomfortable, even felt the springs coming through. One of the beds in our room was much squeakier and bouncier than the other, which tells me that this is a party hotel. We could hear every step made above us. The wall next to my bed had black marks all over it and probably hadn't been cleaned... More

The rooms were big, clean and cheap. It was a $15 cab ride into downtown. The only downside was the poor breakfast and bad coffee. More
