My stay here was 100% business. My room was excellent, and I found the staff to be very professional, friendly and competent. I've heard a lot about the local restaurants and night spots in Austin, but I had zero time to experience any of it. Fortunately, the hotel's accommodations included more than adequate choices for dining. Though somewhat pricey, in... More

This is a wonderful property in the heart of the student centric city of Austin. The copper doors and open interior is just one of many reasons this hotel shines. The rooms are comfortable and extremely clean. The bath robes are luxurious and beds very comfortable. I would certainly stay here again if given the opportunity!

This is a perfect spot for the Longhorn experience! Obviously, the location is like no other: for showing the high school kids around campus, the games, avoid the parking nightmare of getting to campus etc. But also it s tastefully decorated in longhorn chic, has easy coffee bar in the morning, space for lounging, good business office, easy parking, some... The staff at the front desk went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the room. Only stayed 1 night for university related business. All in all, it was a pleasant enough stay. Had to wait a long time being served in the restaurant though. The rooms were clean enough. It is a bit pricey, but... More

I paid for the UT Tower view room and it was a good view of the tower but better view of the parking garage next door. The hotel had potential to be very nice but it was already showing fraying in the rooms. Nice UT touches throughout. I have stayed at the Hampton a block away and, other than the... More

This hotel boasts gracious. helpful service and a wonderful location if you are looking for proximity to the University of Texas. The soaring ceilings of the entrance (which is oddly located one floor below reception) suggest a far grander interior than actually exists. Our room, a double double facing the courtyard was fairly small for a double, and the bathroom... More

The rooms are large, comfortable beds. Bathrooms on the small side, with shower only for the room we had but that's not an issue. Room was too big for the furnishings, looked unfinished. Room was an interior courtyard view, not much to see, if you stay here really try get a city view room.

Very nice rooms. Good service. Excellent restaurant. Next to UT campus. Convenient to walk to any UT event. Approximately 1/2 mile walk to UT stadium. Very popular hotel so you must usually book well in advance.

My company booked me in this hotel as we were holding lectures in the raining rooms. Beautiful position just outside Austin city itself and close to the tower in Austin and the Capitol building. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable and the air-con was a blessing as the temperature was over 35 degrees every day we were there. Hotel has... More

Though the hotel is nice and the rooms were clean, I was surprised at how rude some of the front desk staff were. My younger sister was charged $40 to borrow a phone charger. I couldn't believe that. When we checked in, we were greeted by a staff member who was less than happy. When I had forgotten my room... More
