Didn't really know that this place existed since it wasn't there during my days at UT but boy am I glad that I found it. Will definitely be my go to lodging when I'm in Austin. Located on campus right making it super easy to get around. The hotel had a great look and feel (especially with all the UT... More

We stayed at the AT&T for ACL. A little distant from the venue, and in a Longhorn day game not the quietest lobby, but overall the experience was good. Good options for meals, central location, close to university grounds.

You could do worse. The architecture and space planning are first rate. The rooms are comfortable. But, the hotel's location in over-crowded Austin on the front porch of UT, makes access at most times of day or night a feat worthy of Houdini. If you don't leave, and you can snag one of the too few parking garage spaces, you're... More

I stayed at the AT&T conference center hotel while attending a conference in the same place. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel - and especially so with it being a conference hotel. The room service was free (nice surprise indeed!) and the TV selection was great. The room was very clean, and I've never experienced... More

This hotel is conveniently located near the UT campus and within walking distance to great restaurants. The room is clean and comfortable. Every staff member was very friendly and helpful. I would have given this hotel a rating of "5", however here are a couple of items that I took into consideration which lowered the rating to "4": 1- the... More

This facility is located in a convenient location and very well built if the low noise factor was any indication. We were in town to visit family, and unbeknownst to me the same weekend as ACL festival, which limited our options for lodging. For us (on a pleasure trip) this is definitely too pricey to consider as a option BUT... More

Very nice hotel practically on the UT campus. Had a great view of the Tower, convenient parking & beautiful facilities. Didn't try restaurants or services. Nitpicks: small room, particularly bathroom for price of room, wifi not as fast as it should be for the AT&T hotel. Happy here, would stay again.

Overpriced. The room was the equivalent of a Holiday Inn Express. Clean room, but it needed remodeling. The Carillon's maître d refused to serve us because he didn't like our dress or the fact that we had elementary-aged children with us. He told us to go to Schlotzsky's. No pay per view movies. The bell stand did not assist with... More

Dear John C, We appreciate you voicing your opinion regarding your recent stay over a UT home football game and Austin City Limits Music Festival weekend. Indeed when these two very popular events coincide, prices rise across the city due to the limited supply of hotel rooms in Austin. As we are just a few blocks from DKR Stadium, many... More

Traveling on quiet Independence Day weekend (no conventions going on), this hotel provided quiet, roomy, clean and well-furnished lodging. We booked through a discount site that labeled this a 4-star hotel. It was well appointed and the room furnishings stylish. Disappointing was the lack of even free continental breakfast. Of the nice hotels near downtown Austin, this was the most... More
