Affordable, professional and courteous. They helped accommodating last minute needs with ease. Would highly recommend for a conference, the meeting spaces were well equipped and the accommodations were top notch.

I recently stayed at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center for an on-site conference. This was my second time staying at the center, and both times were great experiences. The rooms were very clean, and well-stocked, and the staff was incredibly helpful with any questions I had. I also appreciated being in the same building as my conference, especially... More

Hi, Jennifer! We're glad you enjoyed your conference and Austin despite the cold snap! We know the convenience of our conference center and hotel being so close is helpful for meeting attendees and pleased to hear you enjoyed that experience. We look forward to your return, hopefully in warmer weather next time! Best, Anita Cheung Marketing and Promotions Manager More

The AT&T Conference Center is located on the edge of the UTA campus, within easy walking distance to the Drag, the Texas History Museum, LBJ Library and the UTA art museum, as well, as the football and basketball venues. There are 2 decent restaurants in the hotel and a coffee shop. Service at the coffee shop is hit-or-miss--if students are... More

I was looking for a hotel in downtown Austin and this hotel was billed by the service I was using as a downtown hotel. It is definitely NOT and I was really angry when I discovered it was 2 blocks from the University of Texas tower on the UT campus. I really felt like it had been falsely advertised and... More

Hello, omaopatravellers! Thank you for staying with us and telling us about your experience. While we are not a short walking distance (a block or two) from 6th Street, which many would call the main downtown area, we are categorized as downtown on many maps. We are usually on the inner edge of the downtown area. We recommend booking directly... More

We stayed for a wedding at the ATT center on the Univ. TX campus. The rooms are small and dimly lit--couldn't read in bed and forget trying to put on makeup. The food was cold and bland. Movies on demand were offered, but then not provided because they wouldn't share the necessary code. The staff was pleasant, but didn't make... More

Dear Robert B, We value our guests feedback and will address any lighting issues in our rooms in future renovations. While we do provide two bulbs at each bed side and a lighted make-up mirror, this did not meet your expectations so we will fix it. The same goes for our menus...they are constantly being updated so we provide fresh,... More

We ate at Carrilon and the service was incredibly slow, the order they brought out was wrong, and the food was improperly prepared (overdone). Breakfast took more than 2 hours. The eggs were cooked so far past done that they could not be cut with a fork. Other than that, the hotel was sufficient. Not outstanding but good enough.

We had a 5 day conference and the facility was a perfect fit for a large gathering of over 300 people. The break out sessions had fully functional audio and video halls. In short it is a one stop place for hosting conference and for a great stay.

Guest rooms, front desk staff, food, and bar. All were superb at the ATT Executive Ed Conference Center. The conference facilities were likely some of the best I have visited. The rooms have a Harvard Business School lay out for great participation, comfort and learning. The larger lecture rooms are modern - great sound, comfortable seats. Ideal for a mix... More

Fantastic place, good service Rooms are clean but some of them have a low noise reduction (con) All meals are really good from breakfast to diner. A real good place for a lovely week-end or a business trip.

So, that coffee: while the coffee we were served at the conference I was at was the usual US hotel muddy water, it was reasonably drinkable within the limits I expect when in a hotel in the States. However, the "coffee" served at breakfast in the main restaurant was genuinely undrinkable. It was the most disgusting coffee I've ever tasted.... More
