We stayed at a Hyatt House in East Parsippany NJ in December and had a totally positive visit. We were so impressed that we decided to stay at this one in Austin. Mistake. Hotel is old, dirty, REEKS of cigarette smoke, and the clientele is questionable. Bath towels are barely towels--not convinced they're clean. My bare feet stuck to the... More

I had stayed here before, but this was such a treat. They are renovating the hotel and you can smell the new smell of carpet. Each room was absolutely brand new with a fabulous giant LG widescreen TV! The room has a separate area for ladies to put on make up while the guys take a long shower! Go now... More

Only complaint was they are in the middle of a remodel. But the hotel is nice and I would stay there again. Clean rooms and good breakfast and evening snacks and drinks. I have stayed there twice and it has been nice both times.

This facility is currently undergoing renovations. The newly renovated rooms are very nice. The staff does the best they can with the other common areas in building given the fact that building is currently being renovated.

Hyatt House could have done a much better job providing signage for the temporary location of the registration desk. Needed lighting. Ever hear of reflective signs. If you are unfamiliar with this hotel - you have a scavenger hunt ahead to find the lobby in the dark.

I have stayed at this property for more than 10 years. I have seen it go from "Bradford Suites" to "Summerfield Suites", to now Hyatt House. Its' conveniently located and generally is reasonably priced. The buildings are getting a bit tired and I certainly welcome the remodeling. However, when you do it on such a scale, perhaps the best idea... More

The room was not bad, but I could hear every step the people upstairs take and I could hear when they took a shower or use the sink. It is extremely annoying for a light sleeper like me. I was in Building A, maybe other buildings do not have the same problem.

We arrived at the Hyatt House after dark and were greeted to a parking lot full of construction materials and a dumpster and little signs directing us to a check in area that was on the back side of the main building. Had to go into a side door, past a 'security guard' and down a hallway to get to... More

The location made for easy access to 183, Mopac and 360. Nice and spacious rooms. I really love having a little kitchen in my room. The renovations made parking difficult, but overall we had a very easy stay.

Unhelpful and uninformed staff, but manager was friendly and helpful. Poor directional signage inside and out. Inadequate "gym" with minimal and outdated cardio equipment and no weight equipment. Not environmentally friendly. Poor shower design.
