We stayed two nights in the hotel and it made an initial good impression - reasonably smart and easy to find from the Interstate. This was eroded by the very slow and unfriendly service at check in. We made our booking through Booking.com and when we arrived the rate was higher than it was meant to be as our reservation... More

I have had to stay at your property several times in the last year . We always have the most comfortable stay when we have to be away from home. We have never had any bad experience at the Clarion. Beautiful property all the time. Rooms always clean and comfortable. The staff goes above and beyond to take care of... More

We booked the place because the price was reasonable and there were positives. The pool was nice and clean although covey of pigeons frequents the pool deck to drink from a defunct fountain. The hot tub was taped off and unavailable which was a real downer. There was plenty of parking and the bed was comfortable and relatively clean. However,... More

In contrast to the last reviewer, my experience was good. I used the bus system to get to the hotel, and while not a door to door ride, it was inexpensive and acceptable. The hotel staff gave me good directions so I could choose the right bus and locate the hotel. The hotel is older, but was clean and secure.... More

From the moment I made the "reservation" to the time we checked out, it was horrible. The staff (Cody) and the manager (Jose) had no clue what they were doing. One of the front desk clerks (Daniel), who was a new employee quit because of how UNorganized everything was at the front desk. We reserved, what they call a "SUITE"... More

I held a manager meeting at this hotel. It was a mistake. I have used this location a couple of times and have never been treated like this at this hotel or any hotel. They refused to let us into our banquet room to set up computers and printers because the contract said 8PM. Even though it was stated verbally... More

We were concerned after reading all of the negative reviews, but this hotel is really very nice and a great home-base for visiting Austin. We have stayed in many Austin hotels and would definitely stay here again. The lobby area is lovely, and the pool is beautifully modern and Texas-style with a fountain, comfy lounges, and a sunny courtyard. Our... More

This hotel is under a badly needed renovation and has many issues. As I was checking in I heard the front desk clerk tell the guest that the door sticks so he has to move it a certain way to get it to open. When I checked in he told me that I might have to use a different door... More

I travel all of the time and I am in Austin once a month, this hotel has always been one of my favorites, the rooms, pool, hot tub, no smoking rooms are all very important. You can not go wrong staying here. More

The rooms are a little dated, but clean. The beds are super comfy and the hotel staff was VERY accomidating. The only reason I didn't rate this as excellent because of breakfast. We generally chose hotels based on complimentary breakfast and price. This hotel has a resturant and therefore complimentary breakfast is a set menu. Cereal, danish, bagel, fruit/yogurt. One... More
