Stayed there for two mights. Room was clean and comfortable - small though. Breakfast was free and good. Staff at the reception were friendly. Hotel is about 3-4 miles from downtown and UT, so its very convenient. There's an IHOP right next to the hotel, so it was convenient if you need to grab something to eat at any time... more
My family (cousins, aunts & uncle) and I stayed at this Ramada during our spring break. We researched a bit and knew we would have plenty to do in Austin during the week; plus the weather was beautiful and warm! Wow... We have stayed here many times. All of them have been great. The staff is friendly and helpful. Very knowledgable about the area & places to eat. If you choose to stay at this hotel, inspect your room carefully when you check in and report any damages to the management. Based on other reviews, this hotel has a habit of charging guests for damages already existing in the room. I'm currently disputing a $250 charge for damage to a wall that already existed when I checked in.... more

After this guest checked-out, a housekeeper entered the room and immediately discovered a fist-sized hole in the wall right next to the light switch. The check in process seemed to take forever, and I'd been travelling for 10 hours by this point and really just wanted to rest. The damage was clearly caused by some hard object about 5 feet from the floor, so we didn't see any reasonable way this was caused by accident, such as luggage or the ironing board, etc. We charged for the replacement of the mirrored closet door. This was the nicest Ramada that I have stayed in. The staff was helpful, the room clean and updated. I will definitely stay here again. The only problem is access off of the feeder, it is easy to miss. more
