Pay the extra $20 to stay somewhere else. The walls are thin, new "renovation" is a cheap one. Towels feel like sandpaper. If you have a pet, watch for ticks in the grassy area (per the staff)- they don't tell you because they care about your dog, they just don't want you brining them in. Won't be staying there again.

Room given was not clean. They are not enough staff. New room toilet overflows and front desk and housekeeping won't help. Call Hotwire and they are powerless. Never again will I use Hotwire and never again will I stay at an Extended Stay.

The location is a close to Target, which I bought my supplies for dinner. Kitchenette was not bad and very slow. Room was pretty clean. The breakfast was only a grab and go situation. I thought it would be a continental breakfast at least, but it was like express breakfast. Coffee, muffins, and granola bars pretty much.

So this hotel was my attempt to save some money by booking with Hotwire. Never again. The lobby was under construction, and it appeared that they were painting the whole thing bright fire engine red. NOT what a tired, jet-lagged traveler that just negotiated a strange freeway in the dark wants to see when all they want is sanctuary and... More

The vent hood over the stove didn't work, however the smoke detector did ! Had to ask for pots/pans/cups. Less than inviting staff. The new employee tried very hard to make us feel welcome, although he was not getting much help from the ill dressed other staff .Great tall shower head and hot water !

I have stayed at several Extended Stay Hotels, so I usually know what I am getting into. They aren't the best hotels... certainly not sexy at all. They're good if you're on a budget, not going to be in the room much and you just need a simple place to stay. The kitchen does come in handy too if you're... More

Lighting fixtures that don't work. Lots of noise from adjacent rooms. Free low-speed internet, but if you want a connection that doesn't suck (i.e. allows you to watch a low-res YouTube video), you'll have to pay extra. The laundry room costs two bucks for each washer or dryer use, which would be okay I guess if the dryer actually worked.... More

For the price, the stay didn't meet expectations. It started with the reservation. I made the initial reservation online and that went fine. Then I called one week before our arrival (called on a Sunday) and asked to change the arrival date to one day later. I had a bad feeling, so I called the next day on Monday to... More

This is a nicely remodeled place to stay in a great location and area of Austin. Everything looks nice and new. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a full size frig. I was not disappointed in any way.
