Stayed here during one of the Texas games. It is centrally located to the highways. Rooms was small and just damp feeling. Got a good government rate which is why we stayed here. Nothing special. Complimentary breakfast was nice though. more

We recently stayed one night at the Fairfield Inn in Central Austin. We chose this hotel because of the price and location, but discovered that the Fairfield Inn is not just slightly cheaper in price, but definitely cheaper in quality. I like Fairfield Inns and picked this one for it's 'central' location, particularly access to I-35 and US290. We needed a central "base" location in Austin for a long weekend combining business with pleasure. It was a last minute trip, and we were looking for a comfortable bed in a safe, central location.
