Great location close to intersection of I35, 290 and 183, which means a 10 minute drive to downtown and UT, 15-20 mins to the airport. Peaceful and quiet, had no noise problems. Lots of stores and malls close by. Somone said the downtown sights were within walking distance...err... yes if you're prepared to walk 5 miles! It's only a short... more

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice. The TV was small and I would have preferred HBO over Showtime on a Sunday night to watch True Blood, but whatever. However, because the suites can accomodate a large number with cots and sitting around and it is inexpensive, there was a very loud bridal shower... more

Stayed here on a vacation to explore Austin. It is very conveniently located, within walking distance to see the bats, running trails, the capital, downtown 6th street, restaurants, bars, etc. and has parking! I have no complaints and they even allowed us to check in early. more

My husband and I had confirmed reservations(guaranteed with a credit card) for the night of March 6th. We arrived exhausted from a long travel day, about 10p.m. When we tried to check-in-we were informed by the totally disinterested desk clerk that because the hotel was full, they had rebooked us into a sister property about"15-20 miles further north in the town... more

I purchased this room on Hotwire, and wow -- what a deal! (Look for the 2-star hotel in North Austin that's cheaper than you would believe possible.) I've stayed in a lot worse places for a lot more money. The outside of this hotel was nice-looking, newish, and the cars parked there were later models for the most part. That... more

We stayed at this hotel because it was chosen by our softball team. When we checked in there was a shirtless man with no shoes who "greeted" us with our girls and told us he had lived there for 2 years..scary! We then went to our rooms which smelled. One of our families found chicken bones and other trash still... more

I usually like the extended stay hotels and really tried with this one but I just couldn't. I understand it is a two star but I don't expect light covers to be filled with bugs ( crickets or roaches I'm guessing). That was pretty gross and hard to get past considering it was one of the first things you see.... more

Got a great deal on priceline. What I liked was the kitchen that is fully stocked with wood floors, desk, and comfortable bed. what I didn't were the crickets coming in from outside. and the lack of anyone to answer the phone when I called numerous times. the morning attendant was very friendly. more

The ESD was a great place to stay. Clean, great bed, roomy, super neat/clean bathroom. TV was a little small, but we didn't care. Our biggest complaint was no ice machine so you had to get ice out of the trays in the freezer, but it would not be bad if the people before you had filled the trays. We... more
