Good hotel. Convenient location downtown. Friendly staff. Would have given it a higher rating but the restaurant was under renovation so the dining menu was limited. We had to leave the hotel for a decent selection of food - which was unexpected and a bit of an inconvenience.

Fantastic location within easy walking distance to the Capitol, UT, and downtown. Excellent suite with all amenities for which one could ask, including kitchen basics. Parking is limited so you can't avoid the $35 daily valet parking fee, but given the high population density in that part of town this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Pros - Affordable. Location. Clean Rooms. Friendly Staff. Free Wi Fi. Cons - Construction. Hotel is going through a remodel. Parking Lot. Beds in Queen Suite looked more like a Full. Elevator If I knew the construction was complete, I would probably stay here again.

Thank you for your patience while we make necessary improvements to our hotel. We appreciate your willingness to endure a few inconveniences while we make the hotel the best it can be. The good news, we are days away from completing the work. Please come back and let us know what you think! JB More

Manager went above and beyond to solve for my unique needs. She took the time to understand my situation for my business travel needs and then came up with a way to make it work. It was truly an above and beyond effort for which I am very appreciative.

The Good: The 1-bedroom suite was big, clean, comfortable. I really enjoyed the room. My floor was quiet. The walk to campus was about 10 minutes. I made the walk a few times, once about midnight (not too many people out on this side of campus). Very close to the Capitol. The acceptable: Paying for location! The risks: I saw... More

Thank you for sharing a balanced review for your most recent experience with us. I was happy to see you enjoyed both our location and the accommodations. We did recently move to an all valet format as the parking footprint surrounding the hotel has become quite limited over the last few years driven by the expanding development of the downtown.... Stayed here for a meeting and was so impressed. This was a wonderful property and especially for an extended stay. I was only here overnight, but would love to come back. My room had a large living/work area and lovely kitchenette, plus a nice bedroom and a bath. The staff was awesome. Can't say enough about the front desk -... More

We loved our overnight stay. The room was on the 15th floor with a walk-out balcony. We could see the capitol and most of downtown. The capitol at night is definitely something to view! This hotel has wonderful staff from the valet to the reception desk to housekeeping. We were bumped to Diamond Level. I know now that I want... More

I was thrilled to hear back from one of our "Diamond for a Stay" program guests where we upgrade a randomly selected guest to Diamond HHonors status. Our team thrives on providing a "Wow!" factor for our guests and this is one of the best platforms they have to do it. Safe travels and hope to see you again soon... More

I stay in a lot of hotels for business. Yes, I'm loyal to the Hilton brand family. However, this hotel far exceeds many of my Hilton stays. This is a beautiful hotel and the rooms are generous and up-to-date. The bathrooms are spacious and my room had a small kitchen (which I only used the refrigerator for keeping bottled water... More

Stayed on the highest floor in a suite and the view was amazing! We had the view of the capital. Not only was the view great but the suite was also very nice and clean. Other than the disappointing breakfast, the hotel was great! Recommend it.

While I was sorry to hear you did not enjoy our breakfast options, I was greatly encouraged to hear your suite included a view of the Capitol Building in the fore ground of Austin. My friends and I stayed here over MLK weekend. We had two rooms - a 1-bedroom suite and a 2-bedroom suite. They were able to put us right across the hall from one another. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very convenient for our group since we had a big bathroom (or 2), a living room, and a kitchenette in... More

We were thrilled you were able to join us over the recent holiday. (Not enough people know great rates do exist in Austin, especially in the summer months!) And what can we say, Kyle is a Service Superstar! His knowledge of Austin, dining options, events, and places off the beaten path is invaluable. I will be sure to thank him... More
