I always enjoy staying at Hyatt's line of hotels as indicated by being a Hyatt Platinum Passport member. After two flights to Austin, we were tired and looked forward to settling into our room at Hyatt Place Arboretum. As soon as we got to our floor, we smelled cigarette smoke which was also very noticeable in our room. Front desk... More

Thank you taking the time to write a review of your stay. I'm sorry you were less than pleased, but we will do everything within our power to make sure other guests do not experience the same. We are a 100% smoke free property and it upsets me that you smelled smoke in our hotel. It's very rare that we... More

I stay at this hotel often for business. This hotel is located at a great intersection! For downtime there is shopping within minutes at the Domain and The Arboretum. The rooms are clean, well kept and the staff is courteous! I would recommend this hotel any day of the week!

Hotel is conveniently located off the fwy, near restaurants and two different shopping malls. The staff was friendly and the accommodations comfortable and quiet. We never made it downstairs in time for breakfast. Be warned: this is the burbs! In the midst of all-things-"chain" or "franchise". Not knowing Austin at all when we made our reservation, for our purposes, I... More

Thank you for your review. We are glad you were satisfied with your stay and hope you will return. Although we are in the burbs, we do have some great "local" restaurants nearby that we can direct you to if you do decide to return. Thanks again for your review and for staying with us. More

Hotel was a great value. Location was close to everything we wanted to do as a family. The breakfast was good, gym was adequate, bed was comfortable. We travel as a family of 4 and this type of configuration (bed and sofa bed) serves us well. A fridge and single serve coffee maker are also there to add to the... More

I was pleased with the cleanliness and condition of the property. Had some issues checking in for room requested, but that turned out to be a rookie mistake solved by another staff member. Staff were eager to help and were ready for us at breakfast! Did I mention hot breakfast is free?

I was staying here to be close to some clients of mine. The hotel is a standard Hyatt Place property (typical tasty breakfast and room design) however it was the service that made this property stand out. The front desk team were welcoming and offered to take us on a tour right away. When I was using the pool and... More

I stood at the front desk waiting my turn. Then they took 2 people that had just walked in...NOT GOOD. The rooms are typical of a older property been "refurbished" but the low ceilings and the snails pace elevator are a dead giveaway. The breakfast is fine - the bar was serving wine in tumblers and martinis in strange glasses.... More

This is a very good place to stay; very clean, location is perfect if wanting to shop the Galleria, right across freeway or if you have business near Research Blvd. Easy access to freeway and many restaurants in the vicinity, from bbq to tex-mex to the ihop. A good pasta place Buca practically shares their parking lot. Continental breakfast is... More

I can see by the pictures that you may have my hotel confused with another Hyatt Place. Hyatt Place Austin Arboretum has updated to the new Hyatt bedding package and our rooms do have the new fresh white bedding since October 2013. I can see in the pictures that this is a hotel that has not upgraded the bedding yet.... More
